Sep 16, 2017 Yes it does take place a long time after 2. They are working in a universe where only the first two films exist, so this could take place much later and still only follow the events of those movies. This is actually the smartest thing that could be done to save a franchise that went to s--- seeing as how the first two films of the original series are the only ones involving Michael that are actually great all the way through.
Sep 16, 2017 Halloween H40, 40 years later And yeah I kinda liked H4 but it was just a worse version of the original with jamie replacing laurie
Sep 16, 2017 I'm excited to hear this. JLC is a good actress IMO, and the series isn't much without her and Laurie Strode. I honestly didn't mind the first Rob Zombie remake, though.
Sep 16, 2017 Couldnt stand that little f---in kid tbh. (Michael as a child lol) I almost walked out of theaters lol
Sep 16, 2017 Annoying, yes, but I like how they spent a good chunk of the movie exploring his childhood. Laurie was insufferable in the second one.
Sep 17, 2017 Only thing I liked was Michaels stepdad teasing him lmao Laurie was an innocent girl.. in the remake, esp part 2 she acted like a f---ing slut lol
Sep 17, 2017 Btw talking about Halloween @Changeling @DetroitSkills @Bleed etc After H2, Halloween 3 happened. The idea was to make a new Halloween related story every year. But fans bitching about my absence made them go back to Halloween 4, Return. I honestly think they should have went with the original idea. Halloween 3 is underrated imo. Trick r Treat is a perfect example of a movie they could have made -or even make seperate stories of it- . Same goes for Tales of Halloween, both classics.
Sep 17, 2017 Halloween 3 is one of the scariest movies ive ever seen its insane how underrated it is, most people i know haven't even given it a shot just cause they know its the one that doesn't have Michael
Sep 17, 2017 Very creepy indeed I love it. The whole masks stuff is also a great traditional way to make a halloween movie Same with trick or treating and other stuff they mentioned in Trick r Treat. Have u seen that movie?
