Apr 23, 2022 I like Midsommar . It's some weird s--- like The Lighthouse but I ended up liking both. When it comes to Hereditary I didn't really like the ending, the rest was nice.

Apr 23, 2022 I really want to see midsommar I only watched like half of it, lighthouse seems interesting too. I'm all down for Robert Pattinson after Good Time and The Batman, Willem Dafoe is a huge plus as well.
Apr 23, 2022 I think dude was lucky with Get Out and that was it. I don't see anything special, just a bunch of weird s---. We will see though The Lighthouse is the weirdest. Didn't like it the first time I watched, had to watch again. Hype seeing everyone love it helped though. Some people also seem to hate it, which I understand, it's just a weird movie lol
Apr 24, 2022 You probably missed the posts after this one. I like movies with a message. Get Out was great! And lots of other ones, whether it has racial elements or other social or political messages I don't mind. But from the reviews I've seen it said that it was one big woke fest and hardly any horror. That's what concerned me so I asked here. For the record, chances are the one who literally said 'woke fest' is some racist scumbag , but to me its important that a horror movie does stay true to its horror status u know?
Apr 24, 2022 Midsommas was weird. Yes, filming was beautiful. The plot itself was dope too. And the first hour I liked a lot. But then the unsettling (in a good way) turned into uncomfortable in a bad way. As in, weird singing almost like a musical. I laughed because it was so weird instead it actually scared me. @Marsh Attacks You hit the nail on the head. Get Out was a win, the others were meh. Was Hereditary also from him? That one I liked. Also, I do look forward to his next one, "Nope" thats coming later this year! Aight so Escaperoom 2 was nice. Didn't bring much new but it was fine. Not really scary more a thriller. Gonna watch Scream 5 again today, after seeing it in theatre!

Apr 24, 2022 Cause these aren't the superheroe movies we are used to, Footjob. They are more realistic. It's like Joker, it could have been called anything else. They just threw the Wayne family in it and the make up and called it Joker. It was good though.
Apr 24, 2022 So. Candyman. It wasn't that bad as far as political stuff goes. Sure, they added a lot of stereotype s---, but the overall message was fine. It wasn't scary to me though. I love how they connected it to the first movie, even if it was very clear as soon as they introduced "Antony" it was the baby from the first movie. No real surprise there. The urban legend stuff was kinda cool but I wish it was a little more scary and less dull at times. Spoilers ahead; Scream franchise is literally perfect. Will eleborate later!
