Nov 5, 2017 2010 remake was fine except one thing: Freddy was garbage. I watched 4 last week for the 1st time didn't think it was that bad. If I would rate them I would probably say 1: 8.5/10 2: 5/10 3: 7.5/10 4: 6.5/10 5: need to see it again but from what I remember very meh 6: trash but also need to rewatch it first NN: 8/10
Nov 5, 2017 True but not so much the actor himself. The character was just so boring and absolutely no personality what made Roberts version such a succes imo. Also the movie literally copied almost every scene from the original lmao. One thing that I realllly liked was Katie Cassidy in it such a shame she died so soon in the movie. Best actress in the whole film
Nov 5, 2017 Oh and yes @Michael Myers the Producers Cut ending is the one where the thorn symbol appears on Loomis’ hand. The theatrical ending was the one where Paul Rudd beats down Michael with a pipe (still can’t get over that) and was actually made after Donald Pleasance passed away so they just reused his screaming at the end from the original cut. That’s how f---ing lazy they were being there.

Nov 5, 2017 I like that it focussed on the town wanting to move on from being scared of halloween. It showed somewhat an original idea. Should have had that as the main storyline.

Nov 5, 2017 For me Halloween 1: 10/10 Halloween 2: 7.5/10 Halloween 3: 7/10 Halloween 4: 7/10 Halloween 5: 5/10 Halloween 6: 4/10 Halloween H20: 6.5/10 Halloween Ressurection: 1/10 Halloween 2007: 6.5/10 Halloween 2 2009: 5/10 I love Halloween 3.. and even if it was not part of the myers stuff it is one in the franchise. Really really curious how this would have turned out if they went with the original idea of a new halloween themed movie every year. Like for example trick r treat and tales of halloween were all short stories, some of them could have easily made into a movie. For example killer trick r treaters or in trick r treat the little creature defending the values of halloween. s--- was great imo
Nov 5, 2017 I tweaked a couple ratings. Went ahead and gave 3 a 7.5/10. I watched it again in October and it really does capture the spirit of Halloween very well.

Nov 5, 2017 I really wish they would’ve continued with the anthology idea. But the fans wouldn’t let that happen unfortunately. I don’t know why everyone wanted Michael back anyway. We last saw him burning to a f---ing crisp. How much more closure do you need?
Nov 5, 2017 Also am I the only one who hopes they bring back Michael’s breathing noises from the original when they make the new one? I don’t recall them being in any of the sequels. Unless it was there but sounded different. His breathing is one of the creepiest things about the original imo. This is random I know but it’s something I just thought about.
Nov 5, 2017 Part of me is glad they made 4 cuz I kinda like it but yeah agree. They could have made H20 anyway 20 years later. The mask thing was a really cool idea and a mastermind like carpenter could have made more interesting movies involving halloween. So many ideas that could have made some gr8 movies.
