Nov 5, 2017 Well his heavy breathing was usually used while he was killing his victims. But in the original his kills were longer and more drawn out. I agree in the sequels it’s more rushed. He just kills them as quickly as possible and in more gruesome ways like Jason. And we never see how he reacts to killing them anymore. Not sure why not one film after the original could get it just right. If it was in 2 I definitely don’t remember. And I just watched it recently.
Nov 5, 2017 Btw do you happen to own the 35th anniversary bluray of the original? The transfer on it is gorgeous and clearly the way the film was meant to be seen. I double dipped on the original just for that so I own both bluray releases of it. Only film I think I’ve ever double dipped on. Also nice bonus features on it plus a book comes with it with a long article about the making of the film and pictures. And yeah I’m glad they continued with Michael Myers only because of 4 and H20. They’re still both worth watching for sure. Honestly if a couple things were different about 4 it would probably be my favorite sequel. Mask looks s-----y and the actor is too stocky for one.
Nov 5, 2017 Thats what most sequels do.. they either lose things that made the OG so great or simply repeat them (h4 is a good example)
Nov 5, 2017 Ever seen this video before? It’s an actual audience reaction to Halloween from 1979. It really makes me wish I was alive at the time to see it when it was still a new film. I can’t even imagine what it felt like because there’s no modern horror film even comparable to this. All the tricks the film used were brand new at the time. Same with Psycho. It terrified people when it first came out.
Nov 6, 2017 s--- this is great lol reminds me of the Paranormal Activity video thats similar. Halloween remains gr8 no matter how many times I've seen it. Cant say that for much horror movies
Nov 6, 2017 Nice. Too many movies on my to watch list both new and rewatch atm lol Horror alone.. not even mentioning other genres
Nov 12, 2017 Just watched Prom Night for the first time. Watched it mainly just because of JLC. Nothing special really but still a decent slasher flick.
Nov 13, 2017 f---ing always loved this video Scary movies in theaters just arent the same anymore That "ONE MORE TIME!" Guy echoed my thoughts when i first seen that s--- lmfaoo
Nov 15, 2017 has anyone seen "eden lake"?, I loved the ending and my girlfriend hated it. she was mad at me for making her watch it lol.
Nov 16, 2017 Yes. Never felt more angry after watching a movie in my life. It’s such an unfair movie. You so badly wanna see those f---ers get what’s coming to them. And it just never happens. Like don’t get me wrong. It’s actually a really good and underrated film. And the ending definitely got the intended reaction they wanted.
Nov 16, 2017 Meant to post a while back First picture of the hero mask since circa 2003 was taken and shared by the owner - 2017
Nov 16, 2017 idk.. seems like it will be better than the first I hated the first one.. boring and tedious af to me
Nov 16, 2017 Theres an interesting interview with the guy to i think iirc that he did with the pictures it was for michael-myersnet he also posted up a picture of the scalpel from h2 and the boots aswell, didnt see the coveralls but i may be wrong. I got a NAG 75k Not my photo just ran a quick google this is about what mine looks like but i had the hair done a little lighter and a tad less flesh tone around the back of the ear/neck area. I acknowledge its there in a majority of the movie due to the wear of taking the mask on n off, but i liked mine to have more of a "beginning of the movie" feel, also mine doesnt have the pinhole where laurie stabbed him in the left side of his neck obviously. http://smg.photobucket.com/user/jc_70/media/IMG_1006.jpg.html Edit: also bout the hero. You think they should risk restoring it or do you think like many others that it "wouldnt be the same mask" n its better off left original as is n just upkept? (Totally nerding tf out btw)
