Feb 12, 2018 @Michael Myers Oh trust me. Creation more than answers those questions man. Can’t wait for you to see it. Your jaw will drop at the ending.
Feb 25, 2018 I dunno lol saw it was in dutch theatres so figured people in US might have seen it already. Just got my copy of Happy Death Day yesterday
Feb 25, 2018 nice! I haven't been to the theater in a long while tbh, haven't had the time I'm going to check it out though, eventually...lol
Feb 26, 2018 @ComfortablyNumb u too, this movie was so weird Let me firs say that I absolutely loved it except that the ending was such a huge let down lol. We still have no idea what happened. And the reason she was killed and by who? How could that girl pull off what she did lmao Also after being killed 10 times you go walk around w sunglassed acting all happy and be a world changing person? Not making sense. This movie had potential to be a true classic if they changed a few things. Nevertheless for a slasher flick this was a breath of fresh air (ignoring Groundhog Day and the fact that Supernatural already did this concept in an episode). I liked it a lot and aside from the first 20 mins where she was a b----, I love the main character.
Feb 26, 2018 I’m glad you liked it for the most part! Although I don’t agree on the ending. I loved the twist on who the killer really was. It actually legit surprised me and I didn’t see it coming. But I see where you’re coming from. The way I see it, her roommate framed that mental patient to make it seem like he was the one who did it. At first she tried to poison her with the cupcake and if that didn’t work she simply killed her the old fashioned way. Maybe there’s some plot holes in there but I would have to watch it again. But yeah I loved how it put a modern twist on the slasher genre and it has good replay value. I also loved that the main character was a b---- at first because it gave her some good character development. Sure it wasn’t perfect but it was very enjoyable.
Feb 26, 2018 That wasn't really what bothered me the most. Sure the roommate being the killer for a lame reason was kinda stupid (imo) but I mean what was the loop? The killer had no idea she kept reliving the same day over and over. We got no explanation for that, even if it was what the story was all about. But yeah I like the movie a lot, it was a fun watch. Not really horror imo though
Feb 26, 2018 Okay I’ll name the three different scenarios. 1. Lori gets Tree to eat the cupcake. Lori no longer has to do anything else because now Tree will just die in her sleep. Mission accomplished. 2. Tree doesn’t eat the cupcake. Lori now has to go to deeper lengths to k--- her. She comes up with a plan using her position in the hospital to frame Tombs and make it seem he was the one responsible for Tree’s murder. Lori disguises herself and stalks and kills Tree. 3. Tree manages to figure out it’s Lori and kills her before she can. Loop ends.
Feb 27, 2018 You are misunderstanding what I mean haha. For example. In the show Supernatural one brother was going to die within a year. So, and angel got him killed on one day and right after his brother woke up again on that same day, for more than 100 times. It was a way to let him "deal" with his brothers death, in a sick way lol. I meant, what is the 'reason' or cause of the loop?
