Aug 10, 2017 Really hope they dont f--- this up OT watched the Autopsy of Jane Doe and it was by far the best and most creepy movie I've seen in a while. @Charlie Work u were right
Aug 10, 2017 I already knew this but I was ashamed that douchebag beat me posting it before me so I ignored it at first
Aug 10, 2017 Ay fam, I don't lie. Check out my Letterboxd if you want to find some other stuff I thought highly of or just tell me what you like / what you're in the mood for.
Aug 10, 2017 I think so yeah. Not that big of a fan of the original tbh -its good for other reasons but I dont really see it as scary- I think this one will be more horror. @Charlie Work if u got more horror gems, let me know. I already have both popular movies and lesser known but ones like Autopsy is really the kind off stuff I like. Also, Psychological thrillers or Comedies are welcome lol
Aug 10, 2017 Ya Im not even into scary movies and I think Ill go see it...this one looks good...Last scary movie I saw in theaters was SAW
Aug 10, 2017 Asian cinema the greatest in existence watch Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Tsai Ming-liang, Hong Sang-soo & Kenji Mizoguchi films.
Aug 10, 2017 I get why they are labeled as such but to me Saw are more disgusting torture movies than scary tbh.
Aug 10, 2017 Quickly copied/pasted the first name in google but the first films that show up seem very interesting.
Aug 10, 2017 Have you seen Friedkin's Bug? That s--- is disturbing. One of my fav post-2000 movies in general. The new one is being directed by the Spierig brothers who did Daybreakers. I have interest in the franchise for the first time since Saw II. Leatherface, the Texas Chain Saw origin thing, is being directed by two French guys who made one of the most extreme horrors I've ever seen in Inside (2007). I have no doubt it will be great. As you can see, Vahn is the weeb here. I don't think the guys he mentioned make real horror though. I will recommend Evil Dead Trap. It's like an American 80s slasher with some distinctly weird Japanese flair to it. Also, try Kiyoshi Kurosawa's Cure. I've heard Creep is his masterpiece, but I was waiting until the blu-ray came out to see it.
Aug 10, 2017 s---, not Kurosawa's Creepy. That's his new one. Pulse is the movie I was thinking of. The blu ray rip is out apparently.
Aug 15, 2017 Inside was really unsettling I loved it. Haven't seen other saw movies than 1,2 and 3 because I didn't like the torture stuff but maybe I will check the new one out. Also thanks for those titles, asian horror movies are usually creepy
Aug 25, 2017 So I got to read the Friday the 13th script they were going to go with before it got cancelled through a fellow jigsaw crewmember and holy s*** we dodged a bullet there. Sounded really shity. I didn't even read all of it
