Apr 27, 2018 I like both 4 and 5 (4 being better obviously) but hated 6. Paul Rudd, curses, and crazy doctors = no thanks H20 was ok, but is more of a “late 90s slasher film” of which there where many similar coming out at the time. Doesn’t feel like a classic Halloween movie. Resurrection was awful. Btw, what’s the crack with Dr Loomis in this new film? Obviously they’ll mention that he probably died, but will there bro a new character to replace him? Imagine if Donald Pleasance was still alive and made an appearance.
Apr 27, 2018 Agree. 4 felt kinda like 1 the most. Except it has Rachel and Jamie in Laurie's place. Lots of similarities to the OG. 6 was s-----y cause they tried to blame his rage on a f---ing curse gtfo. H20 was alright but honestly it was boring as s--- for the first hour. I mean for Halloween fans it was great since it has references to what happened and insight on laurie/kate's life but as a standalone movie it was pretty boring mostly. Liked it though. One major difference why I prefer H4 over H20 easily: a school w a bunch of boring students and teachers vs Haddonfield.. filled with Halloween themed decorations, stories, interesting characters. Haddonfield is (to me at least) the place that Halloween movies should take place. As for Loomis they paid homage to him in H20 which was done in a beautiful way. Whole opening scene was gr8. But I keep forgetting that H20 'doesn't excist' so I guess he has to be mentioned at least.

Apr 27, 2018 It kinda has to be 2. In part 1 Laurie didn't know Michael was her brother.. that was revealed in 2. So it would make sense given the fact that she is in denial about Michael being her brother. I also think 1 and 2 are one movie/story. But of course its possible they pick up after 1 and Michael was arrested after escaping the house instead of being burned in the hospital.

Also, didnt like the way they rolled out the trailer at cinemacon, buncha assholes spoiling the trailer. Like who the f--- spoils a TRAILER for somebody?

Apr 27, 2018 Ehhh if the trailer description is accurate then... just lol. I honestly like all of the Halloween sequels with the exception of part 3. And Halloween: Ressurection was an awful movie but I can still sit down and watch it if it's on. So even bad Halloween is still good....but... I'm not going lie. The description of the trailer had me cringing pretty bad. Without spoiling everything seems great ACCEPT for what Laurie Strodes is/has been doing. It sounds so f---ing stupid but I guess I have no chance other than to give it a shot and hope it's not as bad as it sounds. Also why all the Hallow 6 hate? Movie was f---ing great curse and all.
