Jun 14, 2018 I just watched Strangers 2. I liked it, though not as much as the first one. Highlights were... -The pool scene -The soundtrack -“Why not?” -Scream reference with the keys I loved that it wasn’t just a repeat of the first. Some may not like that it was more of a slasher than a thriller like the first. It may have been a slasher but it was a really good one.

Jun 16, 2018 Spoiler Yeah I was thinking PTSD. Considering all of the Strangers were clearly dead. There’s no way any of them survived what happened to them. Only way it were real is if there were more of them we didn’t know about. But I’m thinking this has to be the final film. It took ten years just for this one to be made.
Jun 18, 2018 Thought hereditary was hella thought provoking. Very good movie imo. I called Spoiler: Spoiler the treehouse looked like a bird house and something about the way they shot the scenes i knew something was up with the bird losing its head, i think i had said something dumb under my breath like “charlies the bird” at the shot where the treehouse is off center in frame as she walks away n whattya know... Ten mins later off goes her head lmaooo. Theaters reaction to that wass hilarious
Jun 20, 2018 I watched Terrifier which had an excellent antagonist. Really mean spirited and gorey. I watched a couple of John Hough's horror films. Twins of Evil, a 1970s Hammer production about a witch hunt, and The Incubus which is a weird psychosexual 80s thriller. Both were solid. The latter is super peculiar. I watched Better Watch Out which was great. Here's my mini-review: Oh, and I also put on a 4:3 VHSrip of The Nightmare on Elm Street in the background for ambiance.

Jun 21, 2018 I thought that movie was plagued with the “gotta do dumb things to put ourselves in certain situations to provide plotpoints” cliches. But i actually enjoyed it. Ill have to scroll back n read what u said tmrw
Jun 21, 2018 I didn’t go into much detail tbh. But I agree with what you just said. I could probably write an essay on every little thing I hated but I’ll just give one little example. I love how when she dropped that glass on the stairs after stepping on a nail a monster that was likely miles away entered the house and even knew the sound came from the basement. But when it’s in the same d--- room as her it can’t hear her heavy breathing just a few feet away lol. I guess if I had to give it a compliment it was better than It Comes At Night at least lmao.
Jun 22, 2018 So I know it’s not a horror film and this may sound surprising but I just watched Deliverance for the first time ever. Still holds up imo and brilliant performances from everyone. Quite surprised a film like this was made in 1972.
Jun 23, 2018 Excited when i heard about a critters revival. Sad that it turned out to be 10 minute episodes. Brainscan finally on blu ray next month. Anyone else collect horror blu rays?
