Apr 14, 2020 10/10. Honestly its one of the few movies till this day that still creeps me the f--- out when and after I watch it. Lots of movies are creepy but I forgot about it the next day. I remember last year I was lying in bed after seeing it and I heard some noises it was pretty spooky. And I was watching horror movies for weeks, none really got to me like that one. While we're at it; top 10 horrors oat, this decade and movies that really creeped u out?

It 1 and 2 Hereditary Halloween The Loved Ones The Conjuring Insidious The Evil Dead Cabin in The Woods Let Me In Paranormal Activity The Marked Ones I remember watching A Serbian Film without knowing too much about it beforehand. Maaaan I swear, that movie f----- with my head for a good week or so after. It's probably the only Film that made me feel sick, creeped out and nervous whilst watching it... Apr 14, 2020 It's really enjoyable. Top 3 with 1 and 2 for me. It would probably be an easy 2 if they got rid of the Doctor subplot. Phenomenal movie though I was hating pretty badly after my first watch.
Apr 14, 2020 Yeah thats why I asked I was scared to watch it after seeing ur original response lol. True that doctor twist kinda sux. Other than that it has it all. The characters (laurie and fam) were great, haddonfield was back, music amazing and even the podcast part was good. Also LOVED all the nods to the other movies. Looks like the next movies bring back tommy, marion, lindsey and other OG actors. Man this has so d--- much potential.
Apr 14, 2020 @BIGFOOT hated a serbian film. Wasn't really horror though. It disgusted me more than I liked it. Story made no sense it was just one long torture p--- movie. 'Newborn p---' get the f--- out lol. To be honest I don't like torture movies at all. Saw, hostel etc. I like scary movies because of the mood an intensity, and storyline. Torture movies are definitely not for me. Top 10's are coming have to think a little lol

Apr 14, 2020 I might be a little biased towards that one, but yh, I really enjoyed it. It was a nice little change from the original series... I think it might have got poor ratings because it was separate from the normal series. I would definitely give it a watch. Watch it in darkness late at night, and it should give you a good few jump scares.

Apr 15, 2020 No order, except for the first one Halloween (1978) The Exorcist Blair Witch (1999) Nightmare on Elm street pt 1 Friday the 13th pt 1 The Shining Psycho Paranormal Activity 1 Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and im ready for the roasts but... the 2003 one lol the original one has the better mask but 2003 was the one i was able to see in theaters obviously... my cousin cried lolol It Follows, thought it was actually pretty d--- good too imo. If it counts lmao, i count it
Apr 18, 2020 Nice. I think PA was boring as s--- but I remember my ex being so scared so I have good memories of it lol. I think the sequels (esp 3 and 4) are a lot better (because it actually has a story) but at the same time it kinda lost the whole 'found footage' idea when they introduced an actual story. It became less creepy imo. Anyway I can respect u for having it follows. Really great horror! Very creepy. Never been a fan of the chainsaw movies, the OG is really cheesy imo lol. Still a cult classic of course.
Apr 18, 2020 That's exactly the strength of the movie the same way w Blair Witch Project. It looks real. And we can all relate to waking up thinking u heard or saw something when its just the wind or the pipes making a sound. The way it was filmed even if u know it was fake it felt real. That's why I can understand people being scared as h--- the first time because it's somehow relatable. The sequels got more 'fake' like but till the end the first one stayed mysterious and kept viewers interested till the end. However, once you've seen it, the moment is over. I really have no desire to ever watch it again because like I said once u know how it plays out, all that is left is an annoying woman, 80 minutes of nothing happening and 2 minutes of excitement alltogether. Thats why I prefer 3 and 4, much more character development. But like I said 1st one didn't need that. It was purely built on the tension and the real feeling. There is nothing that will ever make me wanna see it again, except when its w someone who never seen it before lol.

I've watched some real low budget found footage stuff, and It's absolutely terrible but because It's found footage, i stick with it lmao. It's the jump scares that keeps me interested . What do you think about Grave Encounters, and the VHS series?
