To the unfamiliar, whether climbing the pop charts or smoking out late night green rooms, Migos do it for the culture, the group announcing Monday evening (Jan. 23) that they will be bringing their transcendent ways to the classroom. Taking place this Saturday (Jan. 28), the trio will host a Culture class at NYU’s Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Film Center, joined by special guests as they discuss their impact on music, fashion, dance and more. Tickets are already sold out.

The sit-down will take place a day after Migos drop their new album, also titled Culture, and is hosted by 300 Entertainment, Quality Control, Nue Agency, and the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. Earlier this month, the group announced a concert at New York’s Highline Ballroom the same day the album is released, their rollout continuing to unfold with news of what sounds like a panel discussion. The two events are scheduled to take place 15 hours apart.

After losing the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 last week, Migos have retaken the chart, their single “Bad and Boujee” continuing to lead the way as anticipation for Culture mounts. Appearing in an episode of Atlanta last year and countless memes, the Migos have proven their ability to leave an imprint on everything they touch, the NYU campus the latest destination to enter their crosshairs. Peep the flyer the group shared on Twitter announcing the event below
