    Chapman deal is stupid. All he has is a fastball and it's not going to be over 100 mph 3 years from now if even that long.

    I don't necessarily agree with it, but I think it's one of those deals that the Yanks made with one eye on the present and another on the future. They've been able to be a fringe playoff team for the last few years even with aging & unproductive players so I'm sure they feel that with their young talent and the looming free agents to come in a year or two, they want to field a competitive team now which they can add a star or two later and become a dynasty again.

    Will it work? idk, I have my reservations about Sanchez and Bird or landing Harper/Trout/Machado, but we'll see.

    Oh for sure. They are still missing a definitive ace (Tanaka is more of a 2 {gives up too many homeruns} while being a constant injury scare) and they'll need to figure out what to do with Pineda - he's looking like a repeat of A.J.Burnett.

    Twins have such a quiet offseason...every offseason.

    There were rumors they were gonna trade Dozier for a while, then they didn't...Oh and they signed some catcher to a minor league deal, they think he might compete for the back up role..That about sums their exciting offseason.

    Yeah Washington state actually, but right near Oregon..Sticking with my teams, not gonna follow the lame a--- Mariners, they're a few hours away anyways.

    With that said though, the Twins are my 4th favorite team lol, so I'm not exactly claiming to be a huge fan or anything. I am going to the giants/twins series in June though. :emoji_thumbsup:

    These last couple weeks have been real bad weather here for this area, but it'd still be nothing compared to Minnesota. But the difference is here they don't know how to take care of the roads so if we get some snow and then freezing rain or something, it'll make the roads all ice and near my neighborhood they never plow or use salt or anything so you're basically f-----.

    Anyways long story short, the weather isn't nearly as bad but the way it affects the area is much worse.
