Ha i been a Franklin fan for a decade +, surprised he didn't end up getting one of those fake UFC jobs Liddell, Forrest, Hughes and Big Nog ended up getting from Zuffa. The fights are entertaining for sure, but I don't get any more enjoyment out of them then i do watching Russian shows like ACB or M-1, plus those shows are on at a more reasonable hour.

That Lee/Yamaguchi fight was awesome, hopefully Lee ends up in the UFC one day but i think shes getting paid big money and its probably similar to the Marlon Moraes situation. More money to beat up lesser competition.

Anyways Invicta tonight, not that anyone is gonna be watching it with the NFL playoffs.



Megan Anderson should win convincingly and then probably come to the UFC and fight the winner of Holm/Germaine. Rest of the card is meh and the organization as a whole is starting to be meh, now that the UFC is picking off a lot of the talent (as they should be).

Ppl might remember Megan Anderson from being on the business end of Peggy Morgan's cheek.

ONE is a better product imo. From the commentary to the matchmaking. I can actually name fighters, fights, champs, etc in the org as well so maybe I just care more than about Russians. Doubt Invicta viewership overlaps too much with football or that their numbers even matter very much. I'll be watching it. Megan Andersen would get murdered by any decent UFC bantamweights turned featherweights imo. Her game is super basic. Peggy took the same shot over and over like one of those inflatable clown punching things.

^Yea sucks we probably will have to wait until July to see it. Not like they need the fight as a lot of champs are ready to fight in April-June to fill out 210, 211 and 212. Stipe, DC, Bisping, Aldo, DJ, Nunes and JJ should all be ready to go soon.

They just announced UFC 210 will take place in Buffalo, NY on April 8th. DC said recently that he'll be ready to go by April, but i think it will be a Stipe title defense against JDS (now that Struve got hurt) or Werdum and then maybe Aldo vs Holloway too.

JDS has been pulled from the Halifax card, now that Struve is out of their Main Event rematch on February 19th. Johny Hendricks vs Hector Lombard in a MW fight is rumored to be the headliner.

UFC should just make the Stipe/JDS rematch, nobody wants to see the Werdum rematch.

Chris Weidman vs Gegard Mousasi the first fight announced for the UFC Buffalo PPV. Meltzer reported in this week's newsletter that the UFC are hoping to get Cormier/Johnson as the main event

Card really should have 2 Title fights, but they might just try to stack the deck for Memorial Weekend/International Fight Weekend.

Im sure Frankie vs Lamas will happen at 210 as well and maybe they re-book the Rivera/Caraway fight as well.

That Paul Daley KO was pretty sick. Hes looked pretty meh lately, but Ward is no slouch. Still won't touch Lima or Koreshkov, but i wish he would fight MVP. They are both Brits though, so maybe it won't happen.

Yea I dunno, neither Main Event does anything for me. Strong chance of both being pretty boring fights.

Cerrone/Masvidal imo is the best fight, but 208 has me engaged for the whole card. While this FOX show has a solid Main Card and a few good prelims but there are a handful of fights i really don't care about.

If im someone who is dishing out 60 bucks (or w/e it is) for the PPV then im probably pretty pissed about 208 though.
