In a little over two weeks Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP will turn 20! Discuss this classic album. It is Eminem’s best album and the best hiphop album of all time and one of the best all categories. What’s your prediction about a new special edition release? Any unreleased tracks from this era? Any demo versions from the album in the likes of the Lose Yourself demo?
Last year we got the expanded edition of SSLP and even if we didnt get anything special from that, this album was huge, so much more popular with enormous impact on the industry and the world. Chances are, we might be getting something this time. discuss

There is already a special edition of mmlp from 2001 that included these 2 plus instrumentals of trss twia and stan. So it has to be other tracks than those as well

I just realized though that if Em ever decides to put out a “lost tapes” like how Nas does, he’d most likely would consult Paul to help him pick his songs.....that’s horrible man. If I were Em the only people whom I’d let help me with my unreleased material would be dre and maybe 50, since they actually have a good ear.

I can't for sure prove it, but Em had the lyrics to the song in the old classic Britney Spears Rhymebook of his, from back in the Up In Smoke Tour days. You could tell that ad-lib on Revelation was already made into a song before all that. The way he references it, makes it feel that way. Can't explain it.

He started recording for MMLP even before SSLP was released. Kim, Our House, and Mom were all recorded then. I think he went on tour for a few months to promote SSLP and stopped recording for a while, then started recording again when he came back in 3rd quarter 1999. I could be wrong but this is how I think it to be.

On the site it says to ‘text Eminem’s number to get first access to MMLP20 music (and anniversary) collections later this year’ so we’re definitely getting something, probably like SSLP20 unfortunately, but there’s hope because that caption is next to 2 lyrics pages and they have unreleased/unused lyrics on them so who knows

Just listened to MMLP all the way through with a couple buddies. We all agree this is clearly Em’s best album. Toss up between SSLP and -Em Show for #2
