See whats really lazy with that expanded edition is that the slim shady lp had a deluxe/special edition album already back in the day, i have it. The album has Em with his hands on his head in blue light, anyways that album had the exact same three song that they "added" on the expanded edition, greg, hazard youth and get you mad
I guess getting bad guys always die on streaming services counts as somewhat of a win.. but is that really all for celebrating such a groundbreaking album.. smh

The interesting thing about The Slim Shady LP is that I'm Shady, c-m On Everybody and Role Model were released as singles and their instrumentals were released. The A Cappella for I'm Shady was also released so I don't know why they were not included on the Expanded Edition unless they really just wanted to keep it to 10 tracks. Jeff Bass did say there was a dozen songs that never made The Slim Shady LP and I don't see any reason why him and Mark would want to hold any of that back and I think most if it is out there, I'm sure the re-recordings of Low Down Dirty and some other tracks from the Unmastered Sequence such as Murder Murder, Take The Whole World With Me and No One's Iller would have been in those 12 tracks and we know h--- Freezes Over was one of the songs Eminem recorded with Dre in their first sessions along with Ghost Stories (Demon Inside) which we also have so I'm assuming those were part of the 12 songs Jeff Bass was talking about. That's 6 songs right there we know of and have in high quality that were part of the Slim Shady LP sessions and never made the cut.

The Marshall Mathers LP is a little different in that there was even less singles, b---- Please Part 2 was a single and the instrumental was on the single so there's that, the instrumentals for The Real Slim Shady, The Way I Am and Stan. The Kids, The Way I Am (Danny Lohner Remix) and I guess the A Cappellas for The Real Slim Shady, The Way I Am and Stan takes it up to 9 tracks leaving room for 1 more? I'm Back was released as a CD single in France but there was no other versions released other than the main version. They did release both the clean and dirty A Cappellas for The Way I Am so maybe include both and that's your 10 tracks?

Maybe they're just waiting for the 25th Anniversaries to go all out.


The Eminem Show will be different. 7 singles! Without Me, Say What You Say, Cleaning Out My Closet, Sing For The Moment, Superman, Business, Till I Collapse. 7 instrumentals and 6 A Cappellas so if they want to keep it 10 tracks a lot will need to be cut. Of course Stimulate will be added which was replaced by Say Goodbye To Hollywood on the album.

Em not the type to release unreleased music in my opinion. What ever he thinks don’t make the cut, not good enough to be released. Also remember reading somewhere years ago that when he recorded MMLP, EmShow, that what he recorded, made it on the album. Can also tell by the quality of the music that he was hitting it out the park with everything he recorded. Where as now you can tell for the most part, he is recording 1919299 tracks for a album and releasing the best batch out of them all. Last two albums seem more natural and grounded though and defiantly has improved the overall quality of his albums. Can tell for instance The Ringer was how he felt at the time and went in the booth and came out with gold.
