    Probably they didn't count anymore after june 2014 and it did go to 4x milion since the last time they checked.

    If MMLP2 is 4x platinum in almost 4 years time.I wonder what the sales of recovery will be if they check it again.Maybe 7 or 8x platinum.

    yeah it says they haven't checked Recovery since 2011 when it was 3x platinum so it has to be like 6-7 now

    it didnt sell 1 million in 1 day

    the way RIAA work, is record labels have to pay and request the certificates, it is not an automated process..so Interscrope did not pay nor request the certificates for 3 years..then when they do, RIAA will not just certify you the highest one you get, they will certify you for everything you achieved

    so lets say in June 10, MMLP2 sold 1 million copies
    in 3 years, it kept selling little by little until it sold 4 million copies in 2017
    Interscrope decides to certify MMLP2 again
    RIAA will not just give you 4X Plat certificate and ignore the others, they will give you 4 certificates for each mill you sold

    It's been on the billboard 200 for like 350 consecutive weeks or something crazy (ever since it was released 10 years ago basically). That has gotta be some sort of record....

    i think commercially this was even worse than relapse? none of the singles really landed, not even monster

    well, monster has 484,950,630 youtube views... that's a big drop (less that half LTWYL views)

    Rap god is 3x platinuim certified,, also huge drop from Recovery 2 diamond singles
