    I didn't see a thread for this yet.. Anyone excited for it? I got tickets to go to the Thursday night premiere. Rewatching Mockingjay Pt. 1 on Amazon Prime right now.

    I'm not ready to see
    Finnick and Prim die. :ash:

    Can't believe I've been reading the books and watching these movies for 4 years now, and it's finally almost over.

    Should be a great finale!

    i probably won't see it in theaters, but I do want to see this rly bad. waiting to watch part 1 tho until i can sit down with a copy of pt 2 and watch it after

    Yeah, I'm looking very forward to it. It's been a long while since I read the book so there's quite a bit I've forgotten, but there are many parts that I remember that I look forward to seeing on screen.

    Welp, the movie was amazing. Had me like :rbcry: the whole time and was extremely similar to the book. I only noticed a few differences. Cheesy epilogue though, just like the book.

    Finnick's death was way more intense and sad than the book :emoji_slight_frown:

    The movie was the best in the series imo, intense af & emotional af.

    I saw it last night. It was so dark and emotional that at the time I thought I wasn't even enjoying the film. However, on reflection it is a good film, it just gets you into your feelings (or maybe just me because I can be a bit too emotional sometimes).

    me too, I don't even think I finished the last book to be honest.

    I am anticipating watching the movie...I still have the books so maybe I will reread and then watch the movie. But from your comments I cant wait to see the movie. I did enjoy Pt. 1, I just hate that they break it up into 2 movies :lmaooo:.

    It's definitely worth seeing. I really enjoyed it.

    Yeah, it can be annoying when they break up films into parts, but I think they justified their reasoning for doing it with this one though. If it was just one film they would have had to leave out a lot of details and it would have felt very rushed. I hope you enjoy it when you see it.

    i love this series. the first two movies i thought were both excellent. mocking-jay 1 was a bit of a disappointment to me, but i still want to see mocking jay 2. i'll probably go this weekend.
