Jul 11, 2017 Added the least talked about part because its not so much about not appreciating or admitting when an artist is good, but more that they are never really mentioned. For me, RZA
Jul 11, 2017 Not talking about current, in general. He didn't do many memorable things lately except a few classic beats (also for Kanye, white dress.. dark fantasy, new day)
Jul 11, 2017 Slim Thug - houstons best and on top of vocal control & flow he still dropping heat, was about to drop 4 albums titled hogg life in 2015 but couldnt bc the label was losing too much money on it
Jul 11, 2017 RZA is the producer and leader of one of the most revered groups in the history of the genre, how is he underrated My answer is probably Dessa, or more recently RJ
Jul 11, 2017 ye he was one of the biggest names in his heyday but why would any1 keep talking about the same material he dropped 20 years ago you either stay relevant through new work or fall out of the spotlight
Jul 11, 2017 cee lo is a ridiculously good rapper like seriously look at this s---: As he laid in the final resting place He had such a peaceful expression in his face My visions blurry from crying But it ain't hard to see that At any time it coulda been me It's about 90 degrees outside But yet it felt like I'm froze The ceremonies come to a close I toss a rose but just can't seem to walk away yet d--- I done f----- around and got upset But it ain't nothing we can do It's bigger than me and you One day our time coming too So ain't no use in being sad Leaving here was probably the best gift he ever had We should be glad Maybe his life was something That he had to give to show me That I need to be responsible about how I live I won't complain about my pain But I just ain't gone let my n----s die in vain So Bean I'm gone make it for you The cycle that these young black men keep goin through I'm gone break it for you And start takin care of me And me consist of all my friends and my family From now on, until I'm gone
Jul 11, 2017 Yes but yet when people talk about the goats (also producers) I barely see him mentioned while he is responsible for so much classic material -as leader of wu, producer and rapper- Also I said this in OP not so much underrated, more like never mentioned.
Jul 11, 2017 he did produce a lot of material and orchestrated the first hip hop supergroup, but musically he didnt really leave his mark on the genre, and he didn't stay relevant for as long as other names (which usually gets brought up in the "goat" discussion ahead of him)
Jul 11, 2017 https://m.soundcloud.com/hom-hom/kid-cudi-ft-rza-beez @Winter @Caslon btw he never lost it, both rapping and production on this >>
Jul 11, 2017 probably one of hip hops most influential and consistent discographies, good looking out but then again rip guru there hasnt been anything new to talk about for years other than solar conspiracy theories
Jul 11, 2017 s/o pharoahe monch for combining ridiculous lyricism and flow with r-----ed stupid hooks, while also singing and producing eminem took his style and whitewashed it smh
Jul 11, 2017 Wasn't implying he fell off, his last album was good as f--- We won't speak of that Banks & Steelz thing tho
Jul 11, 2017 again I'm just talking about in general Guru and g--- Starr as a duo are severely under appreciated imo
Jul 11, 2017 This songs is so d--- good. His flow >> His voice you either love or hate it tho, I like it a lot
Jul 11, 2017 gurus my fav rapper but his solo discog is s---, only the first couple jazzmatazz albums are good
