    This will be the first Mother's Day I'll not be spending with my mum. She died 6 months ago. My dad died when I was 7 so for the last 6 months I've been on my own. I'm 22 years old and work full time so I'm a big boy and can take care of myself but the point of me posting this is to not waste the little time you may have together. Me and my mother never always seem eye to eye but she was my mother and I love her. I never told her it enough. So all of you should if you still have the chance.

    Told my mom I wouldn't be able to make it home this weekend due to work, then surprised her last night by randomly showing up with flowers and a cake. Spent the night at her house and went to church with her this morning and then went out to a steakhouse this afternoon before I headed back up to my college town for finals week

    Well, my mom passed away 10 years ago and my dad 19 days later. Though I don't have one anymore, I still try to make this day special for someone out there if I can.
