They're passing on a proposed policy of the full legalisation of cannabis to house of representatives or whatever the process for this s--- is now. Basically they vote on it in parliament, if it gets passed it's introduced as legislation. It really doesn't sound too crazy but, their main reason for the proposal is so they can tax the sale of it and produce revenue/make it easier for our "best growing climates on earth" to produce and sell it overseas. With the amount they tax cigarettes I can't f---ing wait to legally buy a gram of weed for $60!!!
(but you can have up to 6 plants for personal use apparently)
