MTBMB is everything I have wanted from Em since 2010. Best thing ever.

Kamikaze is superior, all things considered.
Taking into account context of release, subject matter, lyricism, delivery, instrumentation, and cohesion, it's the best album he's released since Relapse.
On a technical level the two albums might be equally good, but Kamikaze blew us all away in a way that nobody thought possible, and that does count toward its score. My life was better around the time of the Kamikaze release BECAUSE I was listening to Kamikaze all the time. I can't exactly say that for MTBMB. Part of that is because we already knew Em was on a hot streak at that point, so maybe it's not fair, but to me, context matters. Kamikaze is my choice.

Kamikaze was amazing when it came out of no where’s, and the first 3 songs still hold up well. But I gotta give it to MTBMB. That album has more gems to choose from and felt more cohesive.

I talk about it a lot because it is truly unreal but putting Revival next to Kamikaze is outer worldly. It's a different person.

Kamikaze is more consistent and has Mike Will production. Mtbmb is great but just has more lows. Although I feel like the version of MTBMB Em wanted to put out wouldve been much better

Kami defintley goes downhill as the album goes on. Not majorly and the songs are still amazing but Ringer is the high point.

Think hes talking about Em making that comment that he had songs that fit the theme of the album more but didnt make the cut because samples not getting cleared or something.

f--- I thought this said “MBDTF vs Kamikaze” Would have been the easiest post of my life.

Kamikaze was cool especially the way it came out. I like when artists add to their “mythology”. However, I think as a whole mtbmb is a better project, despite its shortcomings. Ringer s----s on everything on both of these albums tho.

Kamikaze for me. He went tf innnnnnn.

MTBMB we saw the return of Ed Sheeran hooks and bad production. I tried to listen to it again today and found myself skipping a lot of songs. Nearly every track seems just “okay” to me. It has its gems (Darkness, premonition, Godzilla, I will) but aside from those the album doesn’t offer much for my taste

Kamikaze I feel like I can listen to almost the whole thing and only skip 2-3 songs.
