What we're not gonna do is act like Laffy Taffy wasn't one of the worst songs of the late 2000s and rappers themselves didn't consider the snap rap era uninspired repetitive and wack

In the 90's they had a certain style, now they got a different one
I like both but I recognize that they're f---ing not speaking clear nowadays
Maybe ya'll just offended by the term "mumbling". It's true though whatsoever
ya'll call 90's stuff "dust" don't know why that was aight than

the only mention of dust itt is you

mumble rap is a stupid buzzword by backpack fa----s who cant understand atl slang or accent. its that simple. theres thousands of ppl listening who have no problem understanding the words, and the only ppl i see use the words is either clickbait media or backpack forum nerds.

Was trying to explain this to @Cyreides the other day. "Mumble rap" is primarily used in a derogatory way and typically by the "real hip-hop fans" crowd.

Yea it was fun but compared to eras like the gangsta rap era in the 90s/00s,the 80s early 90s conscious political era, the G-Funk era, the Cash Money Records No Limit Records era even mafioso rap, snap and crunk are inferior

Except knowing what they're saying doesn't automatically make it sound less like they're mumbling, so it's not an argument against the term that works

Ppl act as if when someone says mumble rap they just don't "get it" or something, like no, I get it,I just think it's usually pretty awful

you made a thread as an attempt to backpack s--- on sub genres you have no idea about.

first of which isnt even a subgenre, second which is a product of early internet music marketing, and you would appreciate for what it is if you knew its history and influence, and the latter which im guessing you have nooooo f---ing idea about, considering your short description of "lil jon" and "skeet skeet". how tf can you mention crunk without three 6 mafia

come back when you have actual genres, actual descriptions, actual opinions or actual content. after browsing rg for 2-3 years ive seen a lot more vs threads than id like to admit but congratu f---ing lations you've managed to produce the worst abomination possible

so s--- my cis white d-ck fa----

Pay attention to quotes. They signify quoting an idea. That means these are lows by standards beyond me
