Jul 7, 2024 Exactly, this is similar to points I made earlier. I think Kendrick has been held to this really weird standard in this battle that I’ve never seen another rapper held to. People complain no matter what he does. Let’s say Kendrick released the Not Like Us video sooner, like a week after the song came out. Some Drake fans would say he’s just capitalizing on the moment to get more views. There’s this weird numbers battle here that only exists because Drake is a pop star. It muddies the waters of everything else in this battle.

I was here making Drake threads saying a bunch of the songs on his albums were fire.
