    and man i want to make s--- like this. i can't ever get basslines like that tho, with the slide 808s (i'm assuming that's what that is?)

    i tried on a new track of mine but ehh. came out most dubstep sounding with the bass and 808s

    I have a short slide note in there. The other ones is just a short note going 1 octave up and down again quckly.

    Maybe this tutorial will help you

    I'll have to look once my computers setup tonight, but thanks. It'll probably help

    I've got it kinda going but I have to overlay a second 808 with no bass and eq it for the high frequencies of it and the first got the highs out or I can't get it audible with the slides

    i like it. your west coast s--- is always lit

    i think that clap sounds just the tiniest bit too crisp for my taste tho

    New beat, no hooks.

    I imagined some rappers just straight rapping to this without a hook, there is just a little transition before each verse.
