Mar 23, 2017 Thanks man, that's actually really motivating for me. I have a bunch of new songs I'm lining up to release, so if you see potential with this quick track I put together, you should definitely check out my new stuff I'm going to be putting out! It's a lot more dynamic than this (I couldn't really make a hook, background vocals, ad-libs, etc. for this track because of the rules).
Mar 23, 2017 Thanks! I guess I'll take that as a compliment? lol I'm a fan of Lil Dicky (actually opened for him last summer) so it's quite possible that he had some influence on me as a rapper. Outside of the beard/mustache (which I don't always have) and being white I don't see too much of a resemblance though lol.

Mar 23, 2017 I mean tons of people f/w Lil Dicky so I took the "sound like" him part as a compliment. And I said I don't see the resemblance to him, but to each his own. Lil Dicky still pulls hoes lol. I've ever heard the comparison to him (sound or looks) from anyone else, so I took the statement for what it was. But on topic, opinion of the track?

Mar 23, 2017 Lol unfortunately I can't really change the voice I was born with. I know that my voice is something you mention most of the time when I post something, and I get that it's not the sound you're used to. I think it's just one of those things you'll probably never feel from me. There's artists other people love but I can't f--- with because I just can't get used to their voice. It is what it is lol. But I appreciate the vote and the video compliment. I literally planned out the video like 20 minutes before I shot it and edited it all myself in like a day so I'm glad you mess with it. Thanks man, this isn't necessarily my direction in the first place. I mean it's definitely me, but the beat was one of the few I could choose from for the contest, and the style is geared more towards that of the contest style. I can be pretty versatile overall with my sound so I'm just messing around still seeing what direction I like best.
