LATEST EP:



So I thought I could try doing a podcast episode about politics and if people like it, I will do more. I really think I talk about some things people would find interesting to think about and discuss. In this first one, I essentially gave my opinion on f---ing everything for 2 and a half hours, which is why the title is me being astonished because I didn't think I'd go on that long lol. Please let me know what you guys think (and by no means do I expect you to listen for 2 hours, also I will post individual segments from the episode as their own clips later)

(Oh, and if this get's a 2nd episode, I will not be alone. I will discuss with guests)

SXN 80 Exclusive: I know I am generally looked at as weird and out of it on this site which is kinda fair, however recently I have really been trying to get s--- together and hobbies are a way to do that. This being a good way for me to talk about s--- I care about.

Glad you're getting your s--- together man and finding some productive ways to spend your time, always good to hear that from people.

But yeah I don't have enough interest right now to listen to much of it, sorry, I did check it out for a minute or 2 while browsing this thread though. I will ask though, who are you going for in the election?

Well if you listened for a couple more hours you would know.

No I'm playing. I despise both Hillary and Donald but ultimately Hillary is better, I would really love to see a third party candidate (Gary being the only one with a chance) get into the debates. If that happened, that opens up a whole void of possibilities on a third party's chance to not only make a impact, but to win.

However, ideologically I am nearest to Bernie, though I have some significant disagreements with him.

I am honestly not saying all of this so people will d-ck ride me, but so that (since the internet is more likely than IRL to have people who feel life is hopeless) I think this could let them have... even a little spark of hope:
Most people around me at school (was in 9th grade btw) felt I was either a a------, weird, or too caring and not-masculine for my own good, I weighed 250 pounds (combined with moderate acne), and the only real social interaction I had was skype calls.

While I still have a very steep climb to go to get to the point where I feel happy, in the matter of a couple of months I have lost 20-30 pounds, reconnected with a pretty close friend I had a fallout with, made an new friend who shares my interest in actual doing things socially (though he get's annoying sometimes with how social he is, it's better than me spending my day in my room doing nothing enjoyable or productive), and I am planning to go into this next school year and be a so much more open, and nice person. Communicating with people is admittedly hard for me, but I am making a conscious effort. It is hard, even right now I cringe thinking of some of the things I said or the way I acted to people, but the only thing I can do now is change and perhaps I will feel I have a better public reception.

I find the fact I am doing all of this s--- at 16 to be very interesting, it's almost like the equivalent of a 40 year old mid life crisis but instead it's happening at 16 lol. But this is something I decided I needed to do, even if I feel like my teenage years were a relatively bad period of my life, if I can conquer that as a teenager and go into the entirely young adult world more prepared, and this leads to my future life being f---ing awesome, I will have regretted nothing. And I really feel, regardless of your age, this is most likely possible for you too.

I know my voice is deepish but I am afraid to listen to it as I don't want to cringe. I'm not even saying I don't like my voice, but hearing myself through anything other than my ears makes me cringe lol.

So I got a pretty nice, somewhat professional Blue Snowball mic for my birthday so I could have a good audio voice, however this podcast was recorded on my phone lmao. My computer was being annoying and wouldn't launch any program (so I couldn't audio record) and I just said f--- it. I thought the quality came out pretty decent all things considered though.

I've been hoping to do this with a former friend since 2009 with no luck yet.

It really sucks having such a bad fallout/ending with someone you really cared for and considered a good friend. I'm as over it as I will be, but I still feel awful whenever I think about it.

Hope I eventually have the success with that that you did.

Yeah I knew it wasn't record professional but it sounded clear and as good as it needed 2 be so good job. I don't have the attention span for this atm but perhaps I'll listen 2 it all later. I always loved pod casts, I also wouldn't mind u reading me bedtime stories

I think it should be mentioned that my friend is the one who reached out, I didn't. But the fact the friendship is back honestly helps me mentally considering I have gotten more personal with him, more than any other friend (excluding one I currently talk to now). Which personally, not being able to talk about your life to someone is a truly awful feeling.
