Word man. Me and my brother were talking about this.. Like yeah, he was a horrible guy, but you see the relationship he had with his family and the people who worked for him. I think what made him most human was how terrified he was of Carrillo. Like seriously, Pablo was scared senseless of that f---in' dude on this show.

Pablo did a lot of s--- that made me lol. Anytime he talked about the president I laughed. Him sending the new colonel an obituary the day he was selected was hilarious to me. And of course his threats across the board after they denied his family access into Germany. Also, the fact that he's "negotiating surrender" the entire season tripped me out as well. Also, it amused me how suddenly everyone was ok with being a b---- when it involved him, like the opening scene during his escape where he punked that entire squad of soldiers.

Shoutout to Limon being loyal as f--- though. That's crazy, he could've abandoned Pablo at so many points but never did. Ready for Season 3.

Yeah that was pretty crazy. I wonder if the part where he hid out at his dads farm was real? That was like the only person who ever told him to his face who he really was.

Season 3 will be on the Cali Cartel
Season 4 will be on Mexican Cartels

The Cali Cartel, which consist of Gilberto and Miguel Orejuela and Pacho Herrera. The fourth head member will be introduced in Season 3.

The Cali Cartel helped Judy Moncada bring Pablo Escobar to his end with Search Bloc and Los Pepes tearing through the streets of Medellin to capture or k--- Esbobar.

The Hollywood Reporterspoke with the Narcos showrunner who revealed that the Cali Cartel’s methods are very different from Pablo Escobar

“Unlike Escobar, who had positioned himself as an outlaw, Cali was very much a part of the system,” Eric Newman said about the new but different kind of villain. “While Escobar was a single-cell organism, they were a complex, multicelled organism.”

“Chepe” is the third member of the Cali Cartel who is expected to join the cast next season.

The showrunner also confirms that there will be several new cast members and lots of different storylines being told simultaneously as the drug enforcement agents battle the Cali Cartel.

Narcos Season 3 may not match the violence of Pablo Escobar. The showrunner reveals that the Cali Cartel achieved what Pablo wanted. They have political influence and the showrunner described them as “more pervasive and more insidious.” Newman went on to tell The Hollywood Reporter the following:

“They bought the presidency of Colombia in 1994. They were insiders, and it’s very much a response to the level of violence that the hunt for Escobar brought to Colombia. We’re inheriting an administration in government and populous in Colombia that were tired of the violence and that changed the way they were going to wage the war, so it’s a more complicated environment in ways. It’s difficult to tell the good guys from the bad guys.”

The Cali Cartel didn’t last long after Escobar’s death. Their drug smuggling operation was brought down in two years and Narcos Season 3 will cover and conclude their arc in the drug business.

The showrunner reveals that the Cali Cartel were influential with drug smuggling in Mexico and that is where Narcos is likely to head after concluding the Cali arc:

Cali was the cartel that really utilized the smuggling routes through Mexico and the Mexican heroin smugglers who were already incredibly successful,” said Newman. “They very much got the Mexicans into the cocaine business, so there is sort of a natural evolution there. As to whether or not I would move directly into Mexico, it’s certainly a possibility.”

What a GOAT show. I can't believe this show made me feel for Pablo. The f---ing soundtrack is superb, the way the chords shifted into such a grand sound in the final two episodes was amazing. Limon was loyal to the mufucking end when no one else was.

Gavira for real is a motherfcking PROBLEM. Love that scene where he smacks down the attorney general like "b----, who you think is running this joint? You forget I'm that dude?" d---.

To me, this beat season 1, and that season was amazing. Carrilo was a real one tho
