Wouldn't go that far but it's a good album, Nas feels rejuvenated

Not to answer for him but check out learn 2 swim by redveil. I think that’s definitely AOTY contender. Amazing beats, flows, rhymes, and story. I don’t see a lot of people talking about it here

Honestly there's no single rap album that stands out to me as RAOTY so far but there's been a loooooot of good stuff (in no order):

Mavi - Laughing So Hard it Hurts
    Cochise - THE INSPECTION
Flo Milli - You Still Here, Ho ?
Vince Staples - Ramona Park Broke My Heart
    NoCap - Mr. Crawford
    Latto - 777
    Pusha T - It's Almost Dry
    Yeah - 2 Alive / Lyfe
    Earl Sweatshirt - SICK!
Drakeo the Ruler - Keep the Truth Alive
Drake - Honestly Nevermind / Her Loss
    Leikeli47 - Shape Up
    ILOVEMAKONNEN - Everything is Trash
    YG - I GOT ISSUES
Kendrick Lamar - Mr Morale & the Big Steppers

    edit forgot:
Freddie Gibbs - Soul Sold Separately
    Chief Keef - 4NEM

I'd say my fav album this year isn't even rap tbh, it's DawnFM

I liked that album as well, completely forgot about it until just now. I've wanted that kid to succeed ever since I saw dumbass Melon tear his album apart. He was a nobody back then and it just gained him a bunch of new fans and like a year later he was playing rolling loud.

I’m stuck between Dawn FM and Mr. Morale being my #1 album of the year. I’ll decide in December which one I like better

That album sends me to another world. I meditated to Jim’s poem and it felt good to my spirit (sorry, I’m into spirituality)

I think you'd like the Mavi album if you haven't listened

Also forgot to add Gibbs to that list

Nah that's dope, I've tried meditation but could never get the practice down to see real benefits. Wish I had the patience, I should try again tho

I used guided meditation apps like Headspace to help me. Admittedly I don’t meditate as much as I should, but when I do get into doing it even for a few minutes every day it helps a lot. It definitely requires a lot of patience and can take a while to really see results, but I think it can be worth it. As someone with depression, it really does wonders for me along with weightlifting
