Nate Dogg is one of my most respected people in HipHop, I put him up there with legends like Dre and Snoop, so I thought I'd make a thread about the king of HipHop hook's.

Information on him is so scattered these days its hard to keep track on whats going on with his music, so I thought we could have a little corner on this (GOAT) forum just dedicated to him. With any new info about upcoming music projects or anything else.

2015 Nate Dogg:
As it stands now; he's apparently got a posthumous album called "It's A Wonderful Life" being worked on by Warren G and others, but nothing has been mentioned on it since its second pushback in early 2014. So who knows if it will surface? I really hope it does because the last project Warren G produced with Nate and Game "Party We Will Throw Now" I thought was classic.

Also Warren G has said he still has lots of unheard material from him and Nate Dogg but won't release anything until the right offer comes along from a music label. Do you think this music will ever see a proper release?

So what did you like about Nate Dogg?
Personally, i thought everything he touched instantly made the song a lot more harder and legit. He was so flexible with his vocals he always seemed to blend in nicely but also stand out at the same time. He was taken away too soon at only 42 years of age and probably still had YEARS of good music left in him. I've been following his music for years and collected a lot of his tracks, and I've yet to hear a bad hook. I'd love to hear what else they have in the vault.

Nate Dogg was the best, and i think he was so underrated. Like his solo stuff were imo really great too, but he didn't even go platinum ever. This is honestly one of my favorites from him but literally no one has heard this 11k views on youtube wtf...

thank god this thread has been created!

nate has always been in my top 10 favorite artists of all time. so many classic songs and guest spots. i remember i made a 5 disk compilation of his best songs/guest spots after he passed. if anyone wants that hit me up btw.

wish a wonderful life had dropped. i was looking forward to that more than anything last year. i could honestly k--- for some new nate

Holiday was dope af, it always made me feel weird knowing that it was of his last tracks before he died and he speaks about getting away on holiday lol its as if he knew he was going. I think Nate is so underrated and overlooked in general. Whenever I mention his music to my friends they never know who I'm talking about... Might have to trade some tracks if you want bro, might have some each other don't have ;]
