Dec 10, 2016 Never Enough is an incredible song and Eminem's verse is an example of what Encore could have been. That verse alone makes entire Encore worse for it, because the difference in quality between that verse and the rest of Encore is huge. How the h--- was this song made for the same album as the rest? Nevertheless, this is one of the best Eminem verses. I've slept on this song for so long and I'm about to make up for the skipped listens now.
Dec 10, 2016 There are better verses than this one on Encore let alone when considering his entire career. It is a great verse though.
Dec 10, 2016 Great song. If Encore was released like it was suppossed to be. (We As Americans, Love You More etc. instead of Big Weenie, My 1st Single etc. ) It would have been a classic and maybe even my 2nd fav right after TES.
Dec 10, 2016 In the other thread about worst Aftermath albums, I was saying how Encore had a bunch of great songs. And this is always the first song that comes to mind when I think of Encore. This and honestly the song Encore are the first 2 songs that come to mind when this album is mentioned. Never Enough, from the day I bought Encore, has always been my favorite song on this album. Not only did Em destroy the beat, 50 had one of his greatest verses from his shady era (I personally prefer the Power of the Dollar/Guess Who's Back fifty more) plus that hook by the hook GOAT Nate Dogg?!? I wish Nate Dogg did more hooks for em. Seems like every single time they collaborated the track was an instant timeless piece of music. But yea, Never Enough is my favorite song from encore. I wish I could go back and listen to it for the first time again! After that track played I thought FOR SURE Encore was about to pick up with TES left off. Oh how sadly I was wrong! Sure like toy soldiers and yellow brick road are great songs, but for my preference they are not songs I listen to often. I like songs that get me amped up and put me in a good mood. Those songs will never do that for me obviously due to their content. But Never Enough and Encore I still listen to fairly regularly to this day, especially when I'm getting ready to go out or when I'm cruising in my car. I'm jealous you are just realizing now how great a song it is!
Dec 10, 2016 Dude, I love how every Eminem fan has their own favorite moment from a huge variety of verses.. So all I gotta say, I think it is a dope verse, thanks for sharing the passion. Encore was my first hip hop album ever ( bought 50:50 with my best friend when I was circa 7 years old, prize was 20 Euros) - as much as people hate it, the nostalgia wins in this matchup lol Never Enough is a great song @Spatula . I wish Nate was still alive...
Dec 11, 2016 Yea like when he rhymes crazy with dre-zy(??) No this verse like the majority of Encore isn't too special
Dec 11, 2016 This verse is nothing like the rest of Encore, and you took 2 words out of a minute and a half string of rhymes to prove your stretch of an argument.
