Sep 25, 2017 It seems like Drake is never not working and presumably has dozens, if not hundreds, of tracks in his cache. One of them recently made its way to the internet via New York Giants safety, Landon Collins’ Snapchat. The video was captured by a Twitter user who posted it. In the clip, Collins appears to be in the team locker room. He shows off a pair of brand new Adidas cleats while the Drizzy track blasts in the background. Aubrey fittingly spits a football analogy on the string-driven track. “Like Sanders on the Detroit Lions, give you the run around and I bury you where they won’t find you.” Drake and Collins’ teammate, Odell Beckham Jr.’s friendship is well documented. So there’s a chance the wide receiver got his hands on the unreleased record and was playing it for the squad, and Collins just happened to capture the audio. Either way, the track sounds fire! After dropping More Life earlier this year, the 6 God is already putting down his next project. In August, he revealed the news at the 2017 OVO Festival. “I’m about to go back to making this new album in Toronto just for you,” Drizzy said to the crowd in front of Toronto’s Budweiser stage. “I’ll see you next year, we’ll be bigger, we’ll be better. I go by the name of Drake, this a OVO Sound ting for life.” The following day, he teased a collab project with The Weeknd. “I want you to understand what this is,” Drake told Abel on the last night of the event. “First of all, I don’t want to do this to you on stage, but I feel like that OVOXO project has to happen at some point. I just want to say that.” As far as this new record, where it lands is anyone’s guess at this point. Sep 25, 2017 I love drizzy but the clip ain’t even all that fire. Can barely hear what he’s rapping for half of it.
Sep 25, 2017 what do you mean? Did you hear that on your smartphone speaker? It's fire and how do you don't understand what he is saying?
Sep 25, 2017 Fire?? That's your opinion. He ain't sayin s---. He rapped like 2.5 bars. Never said I didn't understand what he was saying. The dude started talking at the end of it.
Sep 25, 2017 Chill, I was just surprised you did like it as a Drake fan. It's more about the flow, beat and voice rather than the content. Like you pointed out a few bars are not enough to judge lyrics. If you like Drake, you probably should be liking that snippet imo....if you are not a fan of Carribean or Dancehall Drake of course.
Sep 25, 2017 Maybe I should chill. You do realize that just because you’re a fan of someone that doesn’t mean you have to like everything he/she does? Also, I never said I didn’t like it. It’s just funny how it’s fire and the sample is so small. That’s the internet, I guess. Like you said, it’s really not that deep. Let’s not give this any more energy lol
