Em said couple of weeks before revival was released dre listened and asked wheres the fun

This f---in confirm without a doubt dre is the reason remind me exist

It boggles my mind why ppl want dre anywhere close to em. Im sorry @M Solo but dre is f---in cancer

Yeah when I heard that... that pissed me off too.

That sounded like an exact indication Em concocted stupid s--- to appease Dre's criticism.

Em shouldn't listen to anybody. That's part of the problem, he seeks other people's opinion to form his own. How about HE listens to it and decides if it 'needs fun' or not. He didn't make any prior to that comment, so it obviously wasn't natural and he didn't feel like it. Maybe Dre is one reason he treats every album like it's a product which has to have certain specs every time "okay I got the angry self reflective s---, I got the angry b---- s---, I got the silly b---- s---, I got the goofy story" yada yada.

Like, if an album is miserable, naturally... fkn let it be that. That's authentic.

Dre's production is great but yeah - the fact he said that - is horrible.

how he said it usally takes him 2 years to record and album and he does few songs monthly 40 to 50 songs for revival and we got 18 of em

I won't tolerate Dre slander on this point. Dre has always had the attitude that music should make your head bob, and be enjoyable to listen to, ie fun.

Dre gave valid criticism of the album, this s--- is not fun to listen to at all. I don't need fake melodramatic abortion stories with ed sheeran thanks. Talking about ex LAX and having river runs in the bathroom looking a---.

It's not dres fault ems response to his idea was to make more garbage rock s--- with Richard Reubens. Dre should have been there earlier on to guide the vision tbh. Most of eminem classic material, even when he's going hard, has playful pointed cynicism. It was always fun. Dre was completely right

Hey pal, The Weeknd is totally fine by all means. His last album, in contrary to Revival, had at least some groove and replayability.
It wouldn't surprise me if Em works with Taylor Swift. Just look at all the featurings on Revival. He seriously needs a reality check, because this interview just doesn't do it for me. All things considered and judging by what Revival delivered, the things he said here do not relate with the end product (Revival).

I've always thought Dre was the GOAT but I've always been on the same page as you with him and Eminem. They are the f---ing worst and have been since 2004. I'd lump Rick Rubin into that group to though now.
