New Replies box new behavior

    Hi

    the new replies box we had, had some bugs..and i re-wrote it...now when "new replies box" show, and you click it, the entire page will refresh instead of showing the post directly..there is a lot of background bugs this mod caused and it had to be done

    @Loya @Slyk pls make the box looks 3d or some s--- so at least we feel its new...now it looks like the old box but it works different

    well if u choose to look at it that way.

    site will be MUCH faster and smoother by scaling back this feature. so it's a net gain.

    its really not, let me explain

    the bugs the old one had is basically 2, none of them was solveable

    1- duplicated boxes, lots of times we will have the box re-appear twice and i couldnt solve this bug
    2- the bigger bug is, once you have more than "5" new replies, the platform we run have it built within his core to show only the last 5 posts..so if you had 20 new replies, you will only see last 5///so you miss 15 posts

    how did app deal with new posts before? same as browser? the mod itself is fine but maybe we need to change way tempalte work in app
