we tend to underachieve in these big games, especially in prime-time. but if the offense steps it up, i think we can win.

My problem is is that there seems to be no accountability. These refs are literally deciding the outcomes of games sometimes with poor calls. And certain games? Anymore I pretty much assume any time a big play happens with any team for any game I'm watching that the play is coming back.

our offense has struggled in recent weeks. but did i think we would be as bad as we were tonight? no

i think the main issue is the offensive line. they shouldn't receive all the blame, but i think they're the area we need to improve the most offensively. the good news is we are still in the playoff hunt. but i don't think we've had any victories over a team with a winning record all season---so even if we get in--its hard to picture us doing a whole lot

thielen and diggs are awesome, but you gotta be able to protect- cousins is having to do too much because we can't establish the run

you're right---there have been cases in which the poor officiating has decided games--but i don't think that happens often. just my opinion. seems like we have different views on the zebras. i agree they could be better, but i don't think the officiating is a big issue

Sucks that the first Vikings game I go to in 2 years is that stinker last night, on the bright side at least it was a close game for the majority of it...kept thinking the Vikings offense would get going eventually but meh..never did. play calling is horrendous, the line is awful and has been for years and Cousins never wins a big game...Vikings as a team also almost never win a big prime time game.

They still might make the playoffs but doesn't seem like there's much of a point right now...if they play like they have been vs. good teams this year, they got no shot. Gotta start to wonder bout Zimmer at some point too, I guess the OC Deflippo is likely gone after this year to become a head coach. I don't know why other team want him i think he's been horrible lately, will be glad to get someone new in there calling plays for next year.

well, we didn't even give john defilippo a full season---so perhaps we jumped the gun in firing him. but there were definitely some questionable calls and i do think we needed to shake something up on offense--so i'm OK with this move

i'm not too worried about cousins. there are certainly some things he could have done better. he missed some of his reads last night. and his ball security when defenders are around him could be better. but i still think he's good enough to win with the right guys around him.

and yes, his record in big games isn't good. but peyton manning lost many big time games and eventually got over the hump. i'm not saying kirk is peyton---i'm simply saying athletes can overcome things like losing in big games.

I told @TimmyT I would try to post more in here so here we go:

Biggest game of the year tmrw night for my Chargers! We always have trouble with KC, and just last year at this time we had a Saturday night game against them that we had to win to stay alive for the playoffs and we got our a--- kicked. This is a game The Chargers usually don't win, but we do seem to be different this year. The Sunday night game vs. Pittsburg is a game we would have normally lost too but we pulled it out.

Idk if our defense can stop Mahomes, but I do know our offense can keep up with him in a shootout. Gordon should be back this week too so I'm hopeful!

at the beginning of the season, i picked the Chargers to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. how cool would it be to see Antonio Gates win a ring? he certainly deserves one even if he's not relevant nowadays.

obviously chiefs are good offensively, but the good news is you guys got bosa back. the chargers are one of the few teams with two very good pash rushers. anyway, thursday night game should be pretty good. both teams have some great, great players
