With Brees' last 3 games ranging from mediocre-bad AND after out playing Mahomes on Thursday:
Could my man Rivers end up winning the MVP?!

If KC loses in Seattle this week and the Chargers win out and end up winning the division, the #1 seed, and have the best record in the AFC I think it honestly could happen

Yea lol I was mostly kidding. He did disappear often for the Raiders though. Like I’ve said before, I wish him nothing but the best, but I need the Cowboys to lose every game they play haha.

rivers could certainly win it. seems like mahomes, brees and rivers are the front-runners. phillip rivers is such a competitor. you can just see it by how he speaks after games and how he engages with the other players on the field. dude is sooooo passionate about the game. i love his attitude

fun fact: when rivers was little, they asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up, and he said a professional football QB

yeah, i agree mahomes and brees are ahead of rivers for MVP............but i don't think rivers winning MVP is quite as far-fetched as you seem to

@Motor City lions are obviously having a down year and we should beat you guys, but this game worries me. i love the vikings and have been watching them for a long time, but the vikings are great at crushing your hopes and dreams

Man that hurt...I can't even remember the last time Gates fumbled. I f---ing hate it when guys could go down but make a second attempt for an extra 1 f---ing yard...

Ravens defense is g.d. good though...they completely outplayed us up front...Rivers was under pressure on nearly every play. Sucks we don't have a chance at a bye anymore...looks like we have a rematch in 2 weeks with either the Ravens or a rematch of that crazy Sunday night again against Pittsburgh. Tough game either way but I think I'd rather face Baltimore again...winning on the road in Pittsburgh twice in one season is a big ask.
