I feel bad though, contracts should only be like two years with a third year option max and no franchise tags for the position. They just don’t have a career span long enough to get paid

d--- this s--- still hurts lmao. But i kinda figured it was Tom's last year in New England. I think Bill has wanted Tom out for the last 3 years.

I am a big Stidham fan though, so I feel pretty good about the future of the Pats. Kid reminds me a lot of Jimmy G, but better. I could be totally wrong about him, but he's very poised under pressure, fast release, accurate throws, mobile...Granted, it's only pre-season, but he definitely shows potential.

Aw well, the last 19 years have been incredible, I can't complain at all. I hope Tom does really well in Tampa, and hopefully ends his career with another ring, unless he's facing the Pats.

Patriots are in such an interesting position. They sign someone like Andy Dalton right now & probably makes playoffs OR stick with Hoyer/Stidham, be bad for a season, & be in a position to draft Lawrence or Fields.

I would tank for Lawrence/Fields...put Belichick in a better position to win a Super Bowl in couple years then with a bandaid qb...their defence wasn’t impressive 2nd half of the season...so they have other positions to improve on too...not like Andy Dalton is going to k--- it with that oline and wr/rbs lol

I think Pats are going to re-build..,I just don’t see them being a play-off team

Jarrett Stidham is the current favorite to be starting Qb for 2020 season

I saw odds for Pats Qb 2021/2022 year...and have Deseaun Watson as favorite then Trevor Lawrence followed by Jarret Stidham

If they tank, can they at least sign the GOAT Jameis Winston & make it entertaining football to watch lol. Would love to see Winston launching it around with Bill Belichick as head coach lol. It would at least make their season fun.

Dak is out of his mind. He reportedly has the highest paid offer out of any player in the nfl, and he still denied it. He wants Mahomes level money that he’s going to get. He’s not the even half the player Mahomes is. Does Dak know the browns were a better team last year? The Jets killed them. Dak never proved himself being a playoff threat caliber qb. He couldn’t execute td’s in the end zone quite often, even on game winning drives. I would feel bad for the cowboys burning so much money on Dak, but idc for Jones so it’ll be funny getting himself in a mess.

If Dallas some how lands one of the top 3 WRs (Reudy, Lamb, Ruggs) or one of the top two CBs (Okudah or Fulton) I’ll be very happy.

i'm hoping the Vikings land a CB early in the draft. all of a sudden we are thin at that position. we cut Rhodes. Waynes and Alexander went to different teams via free agency. none of those guys are great, but losing all 3 of them still hurts the team.

Pretty much the same thoughts I have for the Eagles, but we NEED one of those WRs. I’d even take Justin Jefferson. If for some reason a crazy run on WRs happens before us then I’d settle for another CB. Ultimately, I think we trade up for a WR.

My top 10 first round prospects for the Cowboys:

    1) Jeffery Okudah CB
    2) Jerry Jeudy WR
    3) Ceedee Lamb WR
    4) Henry Ruggs III WR
    5) Kristian Fulton CB
    6) Grant Delpit S
    7) Xavier McKinney S
    8) Andrew Thomas T
    9) Jedrick Wills T
    10) Tristan Wirfs T

Give me one of these guys & I’ll be happy.
