this team is way too stacked to not be thinking Super Bowl this year. First year coaching staff but regardless, there’s no reason we shouldn’t at least make a conference championship.

he's overachieved in the league based on where he was drafted. he's a little up there in age, but he did great last year with us. i hope he does great in dallas too.

in other news, mike irvin recently said that the cowboys adding C-D Lamb is the equivalent of that Warriors team that won 70 some games adding Kevin Durant

i think michael irvin was just trolling or trying to get ppl riled up. there's no way anyone could genuinely believe that.

Obviously not entirely equivalent but Cowboys adding Cedee Lamb who’s one of the best college WR prospects in the past decade (Cooper & Jeudy are the only ones better imo) while already having Cooper who’s a top 10 WR & Gallup who’s probably like top 20. Combine that with two very good offensive minds in Mike McCarthy & Kellen Moore. This offense is going to be nasty.

Defense is a bit of a wild card but I think they could even surprise some people. Clinton-Dix/Woods are one of the best Safety duos in the league imo. Awuzie/Lewis are at least decent CBs + we drafted Diggs/Robinson who are really promising rookies. Smith/Vander Esch are the best LB duo in the league when healthy & at their best. Lawrence/Griffin are two premiere pass rushers. McCoy/Poe can be at least serviceable.

i don't doubt the cowboys offense will be really good. i also don't doubt Lamb's ability. i'm just saying he's not going to have the type of impact Durant had on the Warriors in his first year. receivers usually don't make a big impact as rookies unless your randy moss or some s---

now, if irvin was saying that he believes lamb will eventually be a great WR a few years down the road..........that's understandable

this is what i find interesting, nolan is gonna wanna run a 3-4 but i don't know how that's going to work with all the firepower you guys have on your defense line. also, griffin is not use to playing in a 3-4 defense..........so who knows how effective he'll be in a 3-4.

maybe you guys switch to a 4-3

I believe Nolan & McCarthy have both said they’re sticking with a 4-3 defense but with 3-4 principles. So having a designated pass rusher on certain plays for example. They want to get creative with it which I’m excited to see.

I think Lamb will be a big part of the offense simply because of the mismatches he’ll create. He’s going to be playing almost strictly out of the slot. Cobb put up 800+ yards playing out of the slot for us last season.

ya boy and fellow cowboys fan skip is very high on Lamb too. like i said, i don't doubt his ability. i just don't see him having a Durant type impact as a rookie, that's all.

cobb did great with you guys. and lamb probably has more talent than cobb. but of course the difference is cobb wasn't a rookie last season

London games cancelled

Some states are allowing a capacity of fans to attend the games but not sure if NFL has accepted it...

so far seems like it’s scheduled to start Thursday September 10

I hope so, they also have a revised schedule starting September 23 or something in case they are not ready for the 10th.

at this point I would be shocked if they don’t follow through...it’s almost September...they are aware there will be COVID cases like baseball but too much money on the line
