who cares. we win a s-----y division & do what in the playoffs? Lose first round? With the way that Dak was playing, there was at least hope we could make a run.

i don’t know...Dallas defence looks sketchy didn’t see them going on a run...the nfc east just happens to be the worst division in the league....Dak was playing catch up either way...

Dallas good enough to be a playoff team with or without Dak...unless the defence develops throughout he season...I see a similar result...

biggest loser is dak agent trying to negotiate a new contract...

Dallas moves on? Especially if you get a top 10 draft pick? If not it will be a tricky decision for the Jones family

Offense was explosive enough with Dak I think to make up for that. I also think the defense will improve over time. They won’t be good but if they were able to be around average by the end of the season with the offense firing on all cylinders, a run was possible. Now it’s just all pointless. The offense will still be good with Dalton but not good enough to seriously compete/make up for the defense.

Dak will probably get franchise tagged again tbh. As f----- as that sounds, it’s probably the right decision.

It would be interesting scenario...if the team implodes...which I don’t think they will
...definitely a playoff team with too much talent...but if they do and get a top 5/top 10 draft pick...with the QBs coming out in this draft....interesting...

though Dallas is in a win now Situation on offense...also depends when dak will be back....mid way through next season? Will he be the same?

If they draft a QB, it’ll be in the mid to late rounds. A few interesting prospects already in the league would be Dwayne Haskins who reportedly Washington is toying with trading. Sam Darnold with the Jets likely to land Trevor Lawrence. I can envision a scenario where Cowboys franchise tag Dak, signs a younger QB w/ some upside & just sees how it goes from there.
