8 years ago I was as anti Jaguars signing Tebow as anyone but now I really don’t f---ing care. I seriously doubt he makes the final roster. If he does earn that and contributes, great. If he doesn’t then f---ing whatever. I promise no matter what the national media says, no diehard Jags fan really gives a s---. If the media wants to give him attention, that’s on them. I’d never watch/listen to any talking head who did analysis that way anyway. Who the f--- pays attention to Skip Bayless?

Lol I don’t watch Skip or know anyone who does. Saw a clip on Twitter of “Worst Tebow Takes” and 90% of it was him.

I figure at this point, Watson isn’t playing this year. So if Hurts proves to a QB1 then we’re in a crazy position with three first round picks and a QB on a rookie deal. If not, yeah, it’ll probably be Watson next year assuming he settles whatever comes of his off the field situation

    London games are back on!!

Crappy games but I'll be doing my best to get tickets anyway.

Both games at the new Tottenham stadium.
    Falcons @ Jets October 10
    Jaguars @ Dolphins October 17

you better go and appreciate it because losing a home game to London every year is devastating to the city of Jacksonville and extremely detrimental to the team and is a soulless cash grab, i hope you guys stop getting games soon :)

Were you okay with the Eagles passing on Fields?

Yeah, but I believe in Hurts, am sick of QB controversy after the Wentz situation, and don’t necessarily believe in Fields. On top of pretty much having three first round picks in the chamber next year, if Hurts doesn’t work out, then we’re in prime position to make a move for a disgruntled vet or make a move to move up for a QB next year.

if you guys didn’t help us out with the trade back, and the Giants took Smith, then I would’ve been fine taking Fields as BPA, but would have preferred to do the trade the Giants ended up doing with the Bears.

Also nothing tangible about it, but Ohio State QBs always bust.

Yeah, when y’all traded up I was so torn because I wanted Dallas to trade back but not to a team within the division with a top QB prospect left on the board lol. I was so certain y’all were going for Fields.

I liked the Hurts pick a lot when you guys drafted him but what he showed last year wouldn’t make me feel the most confident in moving forward with him as a franchise QB. Not that he can’t still pan out but if I were the Eagles & one of the best QB prospects fell in my lap, I would have taken him in a heart beat. Same with the Giants too but I think they still made out good with that trade.

great move by the Titans, horrendous move for the Falcons. Talk about an organization that is totally confused. They skip out on Justin Fields despite having a soon to be 37 year old QB & double down to win now by drafting the best offensive weapon in the draft in Kyle Pitts. Then they trade their future Hall of Fame WR for table scraps? If they wanted to win now, they should have kept Julio Jones.

agreed that their decision making is bizarre...they are in the middle

tricky situation...it’s like they want to blow up....kinda lol with Calvin Ridley legit #1 WR and Hype of Pitts they can make a push with Matt Ryan?

Julio didn’t want to be there...he’s also in decline at 32...typical rule of thumb for WR...but if you want a playoff push then you try everything to keep him for this little window you have with the young stars...

2nd round pick next year could be huge...get another nice prospect...but they are banking on Matt Ryan still playing at a high level and surrounding him with young stars....otherwise having to start over with a new QB next year or the year after could be waste of prime years for Pitts/Ridley

Mike Davis is their RB1...getting his shot to be prime ball carrier

their defence was middle of the pack towards back end....nothing special

Tennessee offense should be dynamic with Henry at RB...and now Julio/brown as WRs...not sure how good their D is either...

Tennessee legit super bowl contenders now?

Yeah I mean I figured they were hoping for a 2-3 year Super Bowl window by drafting Kyle Pitts. That offense w/ Julio Jones could have been top 3 in the NFL. That alone would have made them potential Super Bowl contenders. If they were going to trade Julio, they should have drafted Justin Fields & traded Matt Ryan as well. At least moving forward, it would have made more sense. Resetting the franchise with a new younger QB + stocking up on draft capital.

I definitely think the Titans are Super Bowl contenders now. Their offense has definitely taken a hit with some of the losses in free agency: Corey Davis, Jonnu Smith, O-Coordinator etc. but bringing in Julio Jones obviously relieves a good chunk of that. Their defense was straight up bad last year but defensive performance is volatile year to year. Also, they’ve acquired a lot of talent on that side of the ball the past couple years & I wouldn’t be surprised to see it come together this season. I can see them making a deep playoff run.

agreed, the falcons situation is weird...stuck in the middle...their D has not been Great last few years either. I can see them being a 6-11, 7-10 win/loss team

like you said having fields there even for 1 year behind Mat Ryan would have been good transition....

they are really banking on Matt Ryan he has a big time contract so they chose him over Julio...Dont expect Matt Ryan to be traded now...he will be a free agent when he is 39 in 2024.

Matt Ryan signed a 5 year, $150,000,000 contract with the Atlanta Falcons, including a $46,500,000 signing bonus, $100,000,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $30,000,000. In 2021, Ryan will earn a base salary of $2,000,000 and a restructure bonus of $21,000,000, while carrying a cap hit of $26,912,500 and a dead cap value of $65,437,500.

goin all in with matty ice

hopefully Tennessee d is better for their sake...that offense will be fun to watch

who would you take Matt Ryan or Ryan Tannehill?

Rb situation gives tannehill huge advantage but it would be interesting to see if roles were reversed...Matt Ryan the better qb I believe....but tannehill continued to prove he’s a legit starter in the league

This is tough because I think Ryan Tannehill has been a top 5 QB over the course of the past 2 seasons. That being said, Matt Ryan has been quality for a lot longer & at his best is top 5 QB material too. It really just depends on the circumstances I guess. I think I inch it to Matt Ryan but arguments can def be made for Tannehill too.

Tennessee is going to be a nightmare to game plan for, 8 in the box no problem watch Julio and AJB eat up one on one coverage, 7 in the box no problem one of Julio or AJB will have single coverage and the box will be lighter for Henry, 6 man box no problem watch Henry run for 300 yards.
