    this was gonna be his first season as the full-time starter. we've been grooming him to take over once kyle rudolph moved on.

    i was excited to see how he was gonna perform. i think he had a good chance to breakout too, especially since he wasn't gonna get much attention because opposing teams are gonna focus on cook, jefferson.

    Can't wait to watch the Pats this year. They look absolutely loaded on both sides of the ball.

    3 good tight ends with Asiasi, Henry and Jonnu Smith

    Really solid backfield.

    WRs are a big question mark but they looked good with Mac.

    Offensive line is a question mark too but I think adding Trent Brown was huge.

    Pats defense is just absolutely stacked. Only downer is they wont have Gilmore for the first 6 weeks, but man they're f---ing stacked. On paper it's the best defense we've had in a long time. Can't wait to watch Judon, Bentley, Hightower and Van Noy together.

    @Chewie were you hoping that Fields would start in week 1 or did you want them to ease him into the lineup and let Andy Dalton open the season?

    a couple wash football team fans have told me that they were hoping you guys would give taylor heincke a shot. did you have a preference in ryan fitz or taylor? it looks like ryan fitz is gonna start....for now. :emoji_wink:

    I think I would prefer Heincke, but I'm excited to see some Fitz magic this season, considering how deep we are at WR

    he can sling it down field

    Washington a legit scary team. Their D is top 5 IMO. Have offensive weapons.

    hopefully get something from QB and they can go on a run

    Yeah honestly can't believe we are starting Dalton - feels to me that there must be some type of obligation in his contact that says he has to start - Fields out played him in the preseason behind a much worse offensive line. I don’t see it lasting long tho, we need Fields mobility to have any shot to win games. Plus Chicago will run Matt Nagy out of the city if we’re losing while fields sits on the bench

    My first year I've ever rooted against Tom Brady. Feels weird.

    Still the GOAT. I knew after Dallas kicked the FG the game was over. Too much time for Tom.
