I hope Bradford starts, and wins his first game with the Eagles, with a statline of something like 350 yds/2 TDs/0 INTs. @Arch Dogg would be ready to stamp his ticket to the Pro Bowl.

I think I'd rather have Fitzpatrick come back, but it's close.. and neither guy is the answer. It really has been a s--- show at QB since Jim Kelly retired.

I haven't completely given up hope on EJ turning into a decent QB but this season will be his last chance to prove himself.

I'm not gonna be furious if we get him but locking up a shitload of money on him given what we just (overpaid) for Julius doesn't seem worth it. I definitely have faith that we'll find some more starters in the draft, this regime has drafted extremely well, especially last year. The plan has always been to build through the draft, we just had an insane amount of money to spend this year.

I'd be beyond surprised if the Eagles actually plan on starting Bradford, let alone keeping him. They probably know of a team that wants Bradford and can help them begin their climb up the first round, or maybe the Jets or Titans or someone actually want Bradford. In any case, like I said, I'd be extremely surprised if all of this wasn't some kind of master plan to move up for Mariota. If it's not then idk, sorry Eagles fans.

@M.I.C. What is your prediction for the jags this year? I'm interested. I honestly believe they could be a wild card for the AFC this year. I just wish they had a team like this when Jones Drew was in his prime. They have a franchise qb IMO with a great defense now.

Fitzmagic is in his what, mid to late 30's? He just suffered a big leg injury and to someone his age, that's not good. He's better than E.J. Manuel, but take it from a Texans fan who just put up with his ill-timed mistakes for a season, you're looking at 8-8 at best.

Gonna have to wait until after the draft to really know cuz our O-Line is still pretty bad. I'm pretty pissed we didn't get Buluga that was the 1 big FA i really wanted, I think we're gonna have to find 1 or 2 O-Line starters in the draft tbh. The defense is definitely primed to become a force this year in the mold of Seattle, Skuta is gonna plug in at OTTO nicely.

All that is important but it really mostly falls on Bortles. I'm not expecting the playoffs this year but if there aren't significant improvements, like 7 wins improvements, then this regime is gonna be in question. Make or break year for everyone tbh.

Yeah man I mean, obviously it would be unlikely for the jags to be a wild card this year, but it still wouldn't surprise me, that's if they do well in the draft. How does Bortles play under pressure? Was he sacked a lot last year or something for the offensive line to be very bad? I definitely have some faith in Bortles and think he can be a great franchise qb for them. Like you said, they have a potentially top 5 defense. I believe they've been having great success in the recent drafts. Any certain lineman you think they are going after in the draft or lineman you think they should draft. I would say 2 out of their first 3 picks are lineman.

I'm definitely getting hyped for the Steelers. They've been drafting like s--- the last few years so this better change this year. I decided to give them and the nfl one more chance to watch. I'm sill pissed they showed no sign or effort in Revis. They need some good secondary draft picks. I was happy to see d-ck Lebeau go. Dude was way too old school for his defense.

I'm pretty sure he got sacked more than any other QB last season, so ya it was bad. Not as bad as it seems though, we struggled with injuries and honestly Joekel was a pretty big part of the problem so LT is still completely up in the air with him locked in as the starter which is worrysome. Inside of the tackles, we're pretty good. I haven't looked that deeply into the draft yet, especially at O-Line but I'd expect us to take a tackle in the 2nd or 3rd and maybe a center after that. The line is still young and developing like the rest of the team so it's kinda a "wait and see" situation unfortunately.

Edit: yea Bortles got sacked 54 times, more than any other QB. New OC says he's gonna be focused even more on Bortles mobility which is a great thing, people don't realize he rushed for 419 yards last year.

Fitz is actually only 32 :oh?:

I watched his inconsistency for four years in Buffalo but I think I'd still take him over Cassel or Manuel.

Edit: And really sucks to see Revis will remain in the AFC East.

Prospect of Murray leaving the Cowboys is very real right now. Raiders and Jaguars pushing hard, Eagles in it too.

Brady takes pay cut, team loses Vereen, Wilfork, Revis and Browner.

He must be flipping out right now

Revis and Skrine definitely solidifies the Jets backfield, hope they can pick up a Safety or a pass rusher now... Still need a QB lol
