Agent Don Yee has announced Tom Brady will appeal the 4-game suspension -- "The discipline is ridiculous and has no legitimate basis."

    Patriots schedule without Brady..
    Steelers
    at Bills
    Jaguars
    Bye week
    at Cowboys

Wouldn't be surprised if they can still go 2-2 without him. Best thing is his first game back is a nationally televised Sunday night game against the Colts in Indy.

Wish the Colts game was at home so they could lower the banner then, instead they should wait till the Jets game.

Still think a game or two gets knocked down.

I could see Jimmy playing great and then getting a huge deal next season or something like that. Kinda like what happened with Matt Flynn after he torched the Lions that one game a few years ago.

I think it's a little ridiculous Brady got 4 games. As much as I hate that f---. (tuck game, he still gives the Raiders s---) He wasn't 100% proven to be involved and a lot of the penalty seems to bite from the spygate scandal, which, i believe, he had nothing to do with. I'm not surprised he was suspended 4 games tho. He wasn't compliant with the investigation and the NFL always f---s up on suspensions.

Nah kid, i just think its a ridiculous penalty.

Although this whole thing was more or less a sting, so interpret that however you want.

IMO if Brady and the Pats cooperated with the NFL during the investigation, the penalty wouldn't be this ridiculous. The NFL is clearly making an example out of them, something they should have done last year with Ray Rice.

Yeah the Pats not cooperating probably hurt them by 2 games or the 1st rounder. Wonder how long the appeal process will take.

Brady cheated for a competitive advantage just like PED use. Suspension is the same and makes perfect sense.

Pats will be fine whether he misses 2 or 4 games, they'll still easily win the division. Worst case scenario for them is probably getting the 2nd or 3rd overall seed instead of the 1st lol.

At least we get the bye out of the way so that when the GOAT comes back and he is on a mission we dont have to skip it for a week.

Nothing would anger the masses like Jimmy G coming out and lighting s--- up, would love to see it.

PED use doesn't = slightly deflating footballs though. The prior is clearly more serious.

I love how the NFL is playing this "integrity" card, like they have any.

if someone thinks the punishment was too harsh, that's fine, you have the right to feel that way as an individuals

but other teams could say that the punishment they received for breaking rules was too harsh as well

so no point in whining about it, that's just the way the cookie crumbles

oh, and the pats could very well go 1-3 assuming the 4-game tom brady ban holds up...which i think it will. football is very much a team game, but certain teams are much more reliant on ONE guy and the pats are one of those teams. the pats are heavily reliant on brady (like packers and rodgers)------they aren't beating the steelers without brady or the cowboys on the road...........and they'll probably lose to the bills too

I just came here to post this same exact thing. You see it happen all the time. Backups come in and play well for a few games, then some other team comes and overpays them to be their starter. Perfect example: Kevin Kolb. What a joke. Dude turned like 3 good games with the Eagles into two massive contracts.
