Patriots have Brady who they must feel can still play a couple more years. Problem Jimmy G is in a contract year and they would lose him to FA or have to franchise tag a back up QB which is dumb. I don't think it was a matter of them seeing something in him they didn't like. I think it was more getting something for him vs losing him for nothing.

That pretty much settles it. Zeke is banned for 6 games for something that law enforcement couldn’t prosecute him for. Rodger Goodell is such a piece of s---. I’m not even mad at Zeke for fighting this all the way though. I think any person would want to given the accusation.
