Absolutely not, Antonio Brown is far and away the best WR in the NFL and the most dominant WR since Jerry Rice tbh

in the NFL...you have different tiers in each position. for example, the top tier of QB's would be rodgers, brady, brees, etc. now we may disagree on who's better between brady and rodgers.........but the point is all 3 of them are in the same ballpark

the same goes with guys like brown, julio and OBJ.

and sorry, but you won't find many people who would agree with you that antonio brown is better than randy moss LOL

Nah, you have a once in a generation receiver in Antonio Brown who is well above everyone else and anyone who watches football beyond casually agrees with that. He's literally on pace to have more receptions than Jerry Rice, that's f---ing insane. Randy Moss only had 200 more receiving yards than Brown though their first 8 seasons and Brown has 100 more receptions than he had at that point. Brown is a better route runner than Randy Moss and just an all around flawless receiver unlike has been seen possibly ever. It'll have to be seen if Brown can outlast Moss to totally pass him but that shouldn't be hard since Randy flamed out at 33.

randy moss played with nobodies at QB for his entire career except for in new england---and he score ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY SIX touchdowns. antonio brown probably won't even come close to that and he's played his entire career with a QB who will likely make the hall of fame.

also, julio jones and antonio brown are the same age--they've both played with good QB's the entire time they've been in the league---and they both are considered stars on their respective teams. therefore, its a good comparison. if you look at their careers---their numbers are pretty similar--so that doesn't do much for your argument that brown is "far and away" the best WR in the NFL.

we can just agree to disagree--because there's nothing you can say that would make me think brown is better than randy moss. and for the record, i really like antonio brown. brown is not a physical freak of nature like randy moss was. brown is an average sized receiver. he's not super tall. he doesn't have super leaping ability and yet he still dominates.......so i got lots of respect for him

I would take Moss over AB. Just look at the type of player Moss was, and the fact he played in a less pass-centric era.

Brown has had Ben at QB. The only guy to throw 500 yds 3 times or something. All in Brown's tenure there I believe.

I’m seriously considering starting a petition to get new Texans uniforms. We’ve had the same uniforms for 16 years, smh.

I know we’d never get to use Oiler colors but these would be dope:

And I love every second of it.

Antonio Brown is the best WR in the NFL. Saw a crazy stat that I'm too lazy to look up again but it was mind blowing. I think it was 2016, but in that year, no player matched or surpassed Browns average of the last 4 seasons in receptions, yards, and TDs. f---ing crazy.

But All that said, Give me Moss over Brown. But you really can't go wrong with either.

the seahawks have been on top for a while.......so eventually things start to go downhill.

i don't have a problem if one believes Brown is the best WR in the NFL. i wasn't disputing that. but MIC said brown is "far and away the best WR in the NFL". if you look at julio jones career.....he's pretty much neck and neck with Brown-----so that hurts MIC's point.

and MIC said Antonio Brown is on pace to have more receptions than jerry rice. but that doesn't hold much weight because Brown obviously played in a totally different era of the NFL than rice did. the NFL wasn't as pass happy when rice played

props to @Big Dangerous for pointing out that moss played in a less pass centric NFL than Brown did :)

Since 2013, Browns breakout season, he's averaging 116 rec per season. Even at that pace, he would have to average the 116 receptions for the next 7 seasons to pass Jerry Rice. I love Brown and I think he could...But unlikely, because Ben and Bell won't be around for 7 more seasons. He'll also be 30 when the season starts so that means he would be 37 and averaging 116 rec. I can see him dropping down to 90 receptions or so in 2 years. Then that would just mean he has to play pass 37 while still being one of the top WR in that league and avoid injuries.

The closes WR that could of gotten to Jerry is Fitzgerald, unfortunately he had a few years lost playing with s--- QBs.

Fitzgerald still a beast considering his age and qbs he has had. I remember fantasy last year he was going in the middle and was a steal pick for the people who grabbed him later.

And Brown is definitely a better route runner than Randy Moss. That’s not even up for debate. Top analysts have said that. Brown can make defenders look r-----ed. And double to triple coverage and he’d still create an open gap for the ball. Idk about the jerry rice receptions, since Ben will be done in 3-5 years. Another big reason i don’t want the Steelers to get rid of Bell is to take pressure off of brown and Ben. That definitely helps in the long run, during a game and keeps the defenses guessing.

There’s some Steelers fans that don’t like Bells attitude and said we’d be fine with James Connor. People love the guy in Pittsburgh since he beat cancer and still carried
Pitt afterwards, his final year. But from what I saw of him playing last year, no way is he even close to bell material yet, and I hate to admit that. You can tell the Steelers fans that don’t know what they’re talking about saying if bell doesn’t want to go to camp get rid of him. I just think with bell the next 2 years we have a great chance of getting a few more rings. Especially since the patriots are on the decline.

yeah, Brown has been on a tear since 2013. My only point was he’s NOT “far and away” the best WR in the NFL. Julio Jones is too talented. Brown was ranked number 2 on the top 100 and Jones was 4.

@dna hits you liked MIC’s posts.....do you genuinely believe Brown is far and away the best WR in the league or are you just being a Steelers fan??
