Steelers really got more super bowl wins over the past 12 years than the pats? Seems hard to believe.

    Welcome back Trent though. :emoji_thumbsup:

The Steelers have more Super Bowls in the last 12 years in some twisted world where 2 > 3.

f---in Wild lose to the Oilers in Minnesota last night. Jesus, can't lose games against weaker teams like that when every game is so crucial in this playoff race. It seemed like they came out in the 1st period expecting an easy game, but were down 2-1. Then in the 2nd and 3rd period, they had a ton of energy and were getting lots of chances, just couldn't score for some reason. Still, it was that lazy 1st period that costs them the game.

Nashville and Colorado both on the road coming up next, really should have got 2 points from that Oilers game cuz these next 2 won't be easy, especially Nashville.

Jagr traded to florida for a second round pick and a conditional third

Clarkson traded to CBJ for Horton. Toronto gives away Clarkson for free essentially

Wild beat the Predators in Nashville, wow what a huge win. They stepped up big time, 4th line did great and had 2 goals, others stepped up too. Dubnyk still looks great. This win makes up for that bad loss against the Oilers last time lol.

Really wish we had more hockey fans in here, Wild/Avs just had an intense very physical playoff type game. Wild are now 4-0 vs. the Avs this year and have outscored them 12-1 in those games lol. Wild have owned them this year, f---in love it cuz I hate the Avs. Wild still rolling and playing great hockey. :emoji_thumbsup:

*edit* and to add insult to injury, Parise owns them after the game too lol.

Parise: "I'd probably be frustrated too if you play a team, haven't scored on them in 4 games except on a dump-in." #mnwild #avs

Lmao it's true, their one goal was a very lucky/fluke goal. :'(

Also Colorado's such a dirty team, these 2 things happened with 3 seconds left in the game.

Wild/Avs play 1 more time next week, would be amazing if the Wild can continue to dominate and sweep them 5-0 this year. That's now 6 straight wins vs. the avs if you count the last 2 playoff games in the series last year.

Also I know the Wild have Matt Cooke and he's a dirty player, but that's one guy(and he's out now anyways). The avs have their f---in CAPTAIN taking cheap shots on the Wild's captain when the game's over and they aren't even on the ice lol, what a joke.

It's a shame there aren't more hockey fans on here, nothing tops the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Keith Yandle being traded for Dan Girardi, wow didn't see that coming.

Edit: Yandle, Summers and a 4th for Duclair, Moore a 1st (2016) and a 2nd in 2015. Yotes retain 50% of Yandle's salary. The initial reports of Girardi going to Phoenix was wrong.

Wild got Chris Stewart and Jordan Leopold at the deadline, 2 pretty good moves I think. @Griff , what do you think of these 2 guys? I know Jordan used to be on Buffalo and Chris Stewart was there until now. I heard Stewart's been doing real good lately.

Also I thought this was really cool, Leopold's daughter wrote a letter asking for him to be traded to Minnesota cuz she and the family missed him, and now the trade happened. :emoji_thumbsup:

Both are good pickups by the Wild I think. Stewart is a physical power-forward type of player who can contribute on offense. I'd guess he'll end up on the second line. Leopold may be past his prime but when he was with the Sabres he was used on the powerplay, had a pretty good shot and was one of the better offensive defensemen. Both guys should help the Wild solidify a playoff position.

Saw this pic on twitter regarding all the trades the Sabres and Wild have made over the past few years, thought it was pretty funny.

This Panthers/Maple Leafs game has been one of the weirdest games I have seen in a while.

Roberto Luongo injured his shoulder and left the game. His back-up, Al Montoya, hurt his leg and could barely move in the crease. Forward Derek McKenzie went to the lockerroom to put on pads just in case Montoya couldn't continue. Montoya continues to stick it out but after a discussion with the officials their goaltending coach Robb Tallas put on the full pads and began to stretch. It looked like he was going to come in but Montoya continued to tough it out.

Luongo was seen in his full suit in the tunnel pointing to his shoulder. Not even 5 minutes later he comes out of the lockerroom back in full pads to replace Montoya. Gotta love hockey players, they are some of the toughest athletes you will find and will do anything to win.

The best part of this is that the Maple Leafs won this game because of a goal scored when Montoya was crippled and this 2 points could easily cost them McDavid. Gotta love hockey.

The Maple Leafs are a train wreck. I hope McDavid doesn't end up there and goes somewhere like the Coyotes who are going to be very good in a few years Domi, Rieder, Duclair, Lessio, Gormley and a bunch of other solid prospects. Add McDavid to that and this team is going to be scary good for years to come.

The Wild are 15-2-1 since the all star break and 17-3-2 since they got Dubnyk. They also won 5 straight road games. God d---!

Dubnyk's making his 23rd consecutive start tonight. Before Dubnyk, they gave up 58 goals in 14 games. With him, they gave up 35 goals in 22 games lol. It's certainly nice to have a goalie finally.
