Mar 4, 2017 theres definitely ppl who have been careful with their systems that are reporting these problems, ppl who are legit media sources that got them early reported that there are uncovered areas of plastic in the doc that rub against the screen and damage the sides of it when docking, and they've only had it a week. i feel like if ur given the system early for a review, and you're a professional media outlet they\d probably go the extra mile to be careful with it another outlet mentioned after dropping it once that the joycons locks dont work anymore and are sliding out easily without much pressure i hope that doesnt happen to any1 here but it definitely seems like the switch was rushed out without proper QA i cant even count the number of ppl ive seen that said they got a BSOD/OSOD(for some reason the launch day patch is giving some ppl an orange screen that bricks the system)
Mar 4, 2017 Nintendo might not give us great games constantly, but when they do...its contender for greatest game of all time Iconic
Mar 4, 2017 See i feel r-----ed because i bought a wii u in like, 2015 for no reason on a whim, I wanted to play donkey kong country but at the same time i just dont feel like buying a switch cause they're gonna make a SwitchXL or a SwitchDeluxe come november
Mar 4, 2017 There are options in the Switch menu to choose the res, yes Zelda defaults to 1080 and lags in very specific situations because of it not being optimized fully for the Switch, but you can Scale the picture down to 720 and it definitely seems to cut frames or something Yea it was rushed but half the complaints are not legitimate. The only thing that actually seems like an issue is the left Joycon having connection issues, not an issue for me as I haven't even played the Switch with those. I use pro controller docked and normal side/side when handheld. Doesn't excuse a rushed system but it's being blow out of proportion.. I know cases vary from person to person but so far my only issue is the dead pixel and the Internet seems to be dead set on targeting a wiiu game that got ported to the Switch as evidence of the Switches hardware, lol
Mar 4, 2017 No evidence of this and if they do it'll be a new docking station tbh I know they like their XL versions but no way I don't see that happening this soon
Mar 4, 2017 I treat all hardware like a baby... I can totally see how those joycon would pop out like that if I forced them to with a nudge but cmon >_>
Mar 4, 2017 @Final its not that I want Nintendo to fail, it's just from an objective view I haven't liked what they've done the past console generation. Maybe it's just because it's not my brand of gaming. Glad you like your console though and hopefully they work the kinks out but for me, I'm just gonna stay PlayStation/PC
Mar 6, 2017 Nintendo is so underrated these day's. The Wii u had more solid games than the ps3 & 360. Fight me. The switch is looking to have some amazing games as well.
Mar 7, 2017 Posted this another thread as well, but ya'll in for some trouble if your console is going through this.
Mar 7, 2017 Its not unheard of for consoles to be s--- around launch. You have tons of people buying it at once.
Mar 8, 2017 Switch sold more units in the first 48 hours than the wii... http://www.oneangrygamer.net/2017/0...s-than-wii-according-to-new-york-times/25498/
Mar 9, 2017 Finally got notidied that Amazon had some in stock for 350, said f--- it tossed two in my cart, hit one click shipping AND....."Items in your cart are no longer available" I'm so f-----. I'm not seeing how I can get one of these by the 24th of this month.
Mar 9, 2017 You can go into Gamestop and put your name on a list for the next shipment but you have to pay in full now and I don't think that shipment is coming til April but at least you are guaranteed one Honestly your best bet is to check out Toys R Us because apparently they were getting 2nd shipments this week and Targets claim they are getting them in 2 weeks
