These are the moves that happene maybe once a year. The type of things that make the whole game stop and go "oh s---, that man/woman bossed tf up"

    Notable examples:

Kendrick - Control. That s--- blew tf up and honestly sparked alot of competition in rap.

Kanye - G.O.O.D Fridays. These were some of the best times to be a fan of Ye, to have an artist of his magnitude give the people freebies with some huge artists was uncommon to say the least.

Kanye & Jay - Watch The Throne. Two of the biggest artists delivering smash hits and an entire album? s--- was so big it was unnecessary.

Drake & Beyonce - Surprise drops. Honestly this revolutionized the way we get music nowadays. Artists drop on much shorter notice than they used to because Beyoncé and Drake proved fans will eat up the music in droves if you drop it, promo and hype aside.

Future - 3peat. Monster, Beast Mode & 56 Nights were at the time, underground classics. The Future we know today, all that success stems from this. Everyone was bumping Future in 2015.

Future & Drake - What a Time to Be Alive. What a time indeed. This album/mixtape would become the fuel that launched the highest grossing rap tour in history and even more fame for 2 of the arguable top 5 biggest in rap.

These are some recent examples, what y'all got.

    s--- I remember:

Hov retiring from Rap back in 03, held us down from 96 till then and it was quite a shock. Him squashing the beef with Nas was huge too.

T.I calling himself the King Of The South, back when Scarface was still on his A-Game and p---- C was still alive. It was a bold claim but he definitely backed it up.

Lil Wayne's release of C3 and the 1st week platinum. Legit felt like Weezy took over the world in those years, it was fun.

Three Six Mafia winning an Academy Award was crazy too, they already had legendary & influential careers at that point but that was the cherry on the top.

Eminem in general during the early 2000s. I'm not even a fan but his presence was impossible to ignore whether it was a music video or new album, they were all events.

Lmao, I used to see these poverty hoodies in flea markets in Yonkers, NY. I gave my BAPE stuff away to charity, somewhere out there a hobo is stuntin on his hobo friends wearing that same purple sweater :rejoice:

lmao after about a year everyone got rid of that s--- real quick. i think the fakes attracted too many bogans (or rednecks i beleive it's called in American tongue) and they became a poverty class brand real f---ing fast.

wiz khalifa had a major hand in making "weed raps" stand out. I think that was a very important time frame when he blew up. Kush & Orange Juice is a classic. He couldn't lose with Cardo and Sledgren on the beat.

    also to answer OP.

    50 cent - Just a lil bit
So weird, it's like this guy is jesus or a prophet or some kind of god like figure. When I first heard this song I was playing it out of my stereo and using his psychic power moves he rapped to me "this is 50, comin out your stereo" and the music came out of my stereo! wtf!!

    how did he know?!
