Nov 12, 2020 i thought @M Solo was harsh about this guy. Now im not so sure. Talk about trying too hard to come across as open minded or whatever. That song is not a top 5. It is trash
Nov 12, 2020 One of his best slow burners, the early portion of his career was so cool to see how he'd eventually evolve his instrument game into the eventual virtuoso he became right around Parade dropped. This was the prototype of Adore before it eventually came around on Sign o' The Times
Nov 15, 2020 I've got 5 songs off of Future Sex/Love Sounds alone that are better than this steaming pile of s---.
Nov 15, 2020 Michael Jackson is a better pop artist imo. As a performer and in terms of the number of hits he has. But Prince is probably the better musician. I know Michael Jackson did write his own songs but I don't think he played any instruments.
Nov 16, 2020 I'm sick 'cause I was always The Resident Prince Groupie of Section.Eighty, but I guess I was too quiet about how much love I have for the man's music. Come (1994 album) is my favorite from him. Sounds so different from everything else as phenomenal as that particular record, but it's one of his darkest and most polished records to date. Cohesion on 10/10 for me as well. Everything segues so perfectly. You must check that out after hearing all of his other, more critically-acclaimed work. It will change your life. The title-track alone is why I make the ladies melt with my cunnilingus, fellas. If she ain't wet as Niagara Falls before she's as dry as The Grotto, you've got a long way to tongue-toggle. I'll rest my case right there. Do yourself a favor and at least check this underrated classic out.
Nov 16, 2020 Great album! It was actually the first prince album I had ever heard all the way through. I bought it at the record store in the dollar bin when I was 14/15 just because I wanted to give the guy a try. The only song I really remember is papa, but the CD has to be around here still. I’ll relisten
Nov 20, 2020 Holy s---. I like you, but g.d., that's a trash a--- opinion. And you gotta reach with an artist like Justin Timberlake who only has two albums that are even worth talking about to compare to a virtuoso like Prince Rogers Nelson. Chaos & Disorder > The 20/20 Experience. That's right. I just pitted Prince's worst project against J.T.'s last solid effort that was still forgettable, when it's all said and done.
Nov 21, 2020 Bro the fact that you keep trying to find out who I am and fail when I don’t even hide my identity on here is astonishing
