    Their respective #1’s and platinum records was the biggest argument against French in the original thread and I accept that Kendrick is objectively a bigger/more successful artist, I don’t think chart success is a good indicator of how popular something is in the real world. Kendrick has 23 platinum singles but I’ve legitimately never heard anyone bumping a Kendrick single irl outside of Humble and maybe Alright. Pop That didn’t chart at all as far as I know, but I couldn’t go out without hearing that s--- at the time,

    Of course he does, squeed is a very smart guy.

    I don’t really see how anyone can say other wise. Kendrick is not a hitmaking artist, that’s not what he sets out to do. The only argument people have is “b-b-but it’s because of features!” Who cares b----! Stay scheming...
