Mar 5, 2018 I defended Revival about a week after as I appreciated some songs more than first listen. But as much of a douche I think OP is in general on this board - I'll have to eat my words and kinda agree here. Such a disposable album, can't believe I don't wanna listen to an Eminem album at all after 5 months.... Full disclosure though - I still like WoW, Believe, Framed, Offended and Arose. Encore was bad but so is Revival but AT LEAST Encore was bad in a memorable way for some obscure reason. Revival IS a weak album and choosing between it and Encore for title as worst album is tough. Encore sneaks ahead by being more unique.
Mar 5, 2018 Encore was SABOTAGED by the artist himself. It's in a whole 'nother league of disappointment, and will remain Eminem's worst album because of it.
Mar 5, 2018 @Big Dangerous : I know you probably gonna be like wtf, cause I hated this s--- from the start but I actually like it. Encore is literally unlistenable, you can thank the middle part for that. Revival has like 4 whack songs, other then that it’s a great album.. Some of the great tracks on Revival like Believe, Castle, Arose, Offended, Nowhere Fast are light years ahead of anything on good relapse & Encore. Great story telling on castle, Believe is magnificent the hooks still amazing, Arose ties great in with Castle & a great way to end the album, Nowhere fast with Kehlani is a great track, the verses on offended are great. the hook is tolerable, you guys just like to hate on everything he does cause it’s pretty much a trend at this point, but if you thoroughly listen to the album, it’s not THAT bad, & I know that people say that the album is “scattered” has no real subject matter, but there is a song for everyone, from rock to trap beats, enjoy it hate it, it’s a great album. 7.5/10 for me. Encore is still horrible, My first single etc pretty much u know, the bad about it, I don’t need to type it out for you. Then again this is just my opinion
Mar 5, 2018 lmao Nowhere Fast is garbage. Offended is terrible music, recycled filler Castle/Arose is corny, insincere, and pointless/redundant at this point in his career Untouchable is mediocre Believe is average at best the rest of the album is unlistenable 2/10 album. an embarrassment

Mar 5, 2018 Like Toy Soldiers>>>>Revival Let alone Encore. Encore has songs like Like Toy Soldiers, Crazy In Love, Spend Some Time and Never Enough. How you even can think that Revival is the better album is beyond me. If We As Americans, Love You More, Monkey See Monkey Do and Ricky Ticky Toc had replaced Big Weenie, Rain man, Puke and 1st Single that album would've been a classic.
Mar 5, 2018 I could understand thinking Encore is worse, I get that. I could understand that perspective, but saying RELAPSE is worse than revival is just so wrong on so many levels. Trash Relaspe for its content but it’s the most coherent, genuine and inspired album Em has put out in over a decade

Encore was career suicide but what makes Revival seem worse is that Encore was supposed to be that. Revival was supposed to be a return to form
Mar 5, 2018 Revival is probably my least listened to Eminem album. Definitely lacks replayability. Still would rank Believe as one of his best post-hiatus tracks though, and In your head-Castle-Arose is excellent. I will always be annoyed that he went super soft on "Like Home" when he could've brought some of that freestyle anger to the track and further explored the argument against Trump's presidency. As it stands, it's such a shallow track that you can tell was supposed to be a single, but for some reason the whole marketing flopped.

Mar 5, 2018 Let's not give Eminem credit that he's one of the very few artists that spits more than just a sixteen and can perfectly execute bridges on a regular basis....example: River...etc...I appreciate Em for being different and more of an artist who releases one album after 3 years that's less than 30 minutes in total length...
