Jan 17, 2016 Same s--- happened here in my city. Doors opened at 8pm and Obie didn't get on stage til 12 or something like that cause there was soo many people opening for him. Didn't leave the bar til 2am. Was pretty annoyed cause when tech & kaliko came here it was ALOT different. If I would have known the meet and greet was after the show and there was a s--- ton of people opening for Obie, I would have showed up a lot later. Pretty much got my picture and dipped the h--- outta there lol.
Jan 17, 2016 Still a good show when he performed all the classics, did the same thing here with the pouring henny in people's mouth. Funniest part of the show was when he was performing snitch, this blonde drunk girl at the front tried getting on stage, fell soon as she got up there. Got it on video and everything.
Jan 17, 2016 Lol very interesting thread...I dont think I would go to an Obie Trice concert unless Eminem was there
Jan 17, 2016 Shame it s----d, at least Obie seemed cool though. I don't care to see rap live in general, but I'd go see him if it was local. I do wish he'd stayed at Shady. He's one of my favourite lyricists, and I'd like to hear more of him.
Jan 18, 2016 9 opening acts, that is absurd. My buddy was there and said they pretty much all s----d. I'm kind of glad I didn't go, but if he comes back and is in a bigger venue I would probably consider going.
Jan 18, 2016 Yeah man, no way I'd pay $50 to meet Obie Trice lmao. $5 maybe. Sucks that it was such a disaster. Nine opening acts? The f---? Two is pushing it unless its a festival.
Jan 19, 2016 I sawed Obie live in 2010 I think. Is was suppose to start at 8. and didn't start until like 11, and Bizare and King Gordoy was the only act, and performed a bunch of s-----y songs for 3 hours, I left after 40 mins and thankfully they gave me my money back
Dec 20, 2016 I saw Obie in concert right after Cheers came out and it was awesome, he killed it. But yeah your show sounds like a nightmare, reminds me of my recent experience trying to see Game in concert. There was also about 9 opening acts, maybe more and they were pretty much all terrible. Then someone fired a gun and the show got cancelled lol, at least you got to see Obie.
Dec 20, 2016 Rumor has it that the Cheers album has skyrocketed its sales among Isis fans and fans of terrorism in general.
Dec 20, 2016 I thought Bottoms Up was pretty decent to be fair. Still rapped as good as he used to imo.
Dec 20, 2016 @Perry The Platypus lol @ you forming political opinions when this is the type of musician you'd see live. completely embarrassing. If I were you i'd make a better effort hiding this kind of virgin tier behavior.
